Love the capacity and steam sanitize!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dryer delivered about a week ago, and I had a LOT of laundry built up after moving and being without a W/D for a few weeks. My first takeaway was that the capacity is fantastic. I have two kids and a bad habit of not folding my clothes post-dry, so it is great to be able to refresh a large load in the dryer when I have time to fold laundry. I am also very impressed with the steam sanitize. As a gym rat who also has a teenage boy, I previously struggled with washed and dried clothes that were still not-so-fresh. The steam sanitize function has worked even better than expected, with clothes coming out fresh that were fairly gross going into the wash. The only reason that rated 4 stars instead of 5 is because the SmartThings functionality for the dryer isn't particularly intuitive (and I consider myself fairly tech-savvy). However, I couldn't be happier with the performance of the dryer itself!
Dream Dryer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this is the dryer of my dreams! my favorite features are the steam sanitize and steam refresh. i fluffed my thanksgiving tablecloth for 15 minutes and it looked as if it were just ironed. now that i have this i'm never ironing again. at first, i was worried that the cycle would end and my clothes would still be a bit damp. then i realized i just needed to turn up the temp. also, my matching washer holds such a large load that i may have overloaded it. the filter is easy to clean and the whole unit looks very sleek and clean. my kids love to watch the clothes go around when i turn the drum light on, which is just an added bonus!
Will Ruin Clothes
This Samsung dryer recently started leaving burn residue on clothes after 10 months of ownership. Apparently, the absorption pad on the inside of the drum has melted and Samsung claims it is not a covered warranty item even though it's an internal component. Buyer beware!

Great Dryer very useful wrinkle diintegrator
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had our new dryer for almost a month now. I can say, it is a very unique method of getting the wrinkles immediately out of clothing. I absolutely love this machine. Now if it would just fold my clothes and put them away, it would be perfect.
Ties bedding in knots
I bought this dryer about six months ago and for the most part its been great but I specifically purchased the 7.4 cf dryer bc I like to wash my bedding and I have never seen a dryer tie things into a knot so fast. To dry a blanket or even sheets you have to stop the dryer every 10 minutes and untie the blanket and put it back in. Everything ends up in a tight ball and doesnt dry. So it was a disappointment for drying bedding. Otherewise it works well

Exactly what I expected
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am overall really pleased with this product. I can dry a normal load in about 40 minutes which is a big improvement from my old dryer. I bit surprised on the amount of vibration but otherwise I am very satisfied.
Excellent dryer. It dries my clothes very fast.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer to replace a Bosch dryer that I'd had for several years, and was on it's last legs. I am very pleased with how fast this dryer dries my clothes, and it has a nice large capacity. The lint filter is also very large, and doesn't fill with lint easily as my old dryer's smaller lint filter did. I also have a Samsung front loader washer, and am also pleased with it.
Cycles add drying time on their own. No error show
I loved it at first but after about 8 months the dryer started having life on its own. There is a normal setting that I have preset for my needs and it now not only doesn't stop after designated time it actually add extra 45 minutes to it by itself, when the cycle set for 35 minutes. So I have to now time my drying and remove the clothes before it gets overdry in almost 2 hour cycle. Another cycle "active" does the same exactly thing. It's frustrating. No matter what we do it's just works this way now (after 1 5 years) and there is no error appears anywhere. I use quite often "refresh" and sanitizing cycle for the pillow as we have pets but the sanitizing cycles is just having life of it's own too - it's preset for 1 Hr and 15 minutes but it never dries more than 10 minutes, I time it. If it's 1-2 blanket throws it's only a few minutes. I have no clue what would make it get sanitized for the entire time. So these are issues that really add more time for me rather than free some time. What I do love is wrinkle release cycle, that you can add up or remove the time on a lot of settings and you can reprogram some of them curated to your needs. But I have never used "permanent press" cycle, no clue what it is for. I wouldn't recommend this dryer.

Great Dryer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a wonderful dryer. We just moved to a new home and recently bought this model. We did multiple loads back to back to back and the dryer did not skip a beat. All of the clothes were bone dry. The smart feature on the dryer is also great.
Nice, but 2 big worthless features...so far
Starting with the good, it seems to do a good job on drying, but always leaves clothes a little damp so I generally put it up one "dryer" notch up, especially when doing mixed loads (cotton undies and heavier shirts). Now the one star items. The "singing" it does, when the load is done, can not be adjusted loader and is far too quiet, so a worthless feature. Why have it sing if you can't hear it? Although my home is only 1,500 sq ft, and the dryer in the laundry room (door open) is onloy about 50 ft away from my office (a bedroom), and I don't hear it's end of cycle singing. Now, today, I went to put it on steam cycle, to steam the wrinkles out of my new drapes, and didn't see a place to put my distilled water. So, got the manual out...no mention of steam other than there's a cycle. So, on to YouTube and the video shows you have to hook it up to the crappy (only 2nd to Death Valley) water we have with a hose spitter. So, yet another feature that is worthless.
Greetings! Thank you for sharing such a detailed and honest review. It's great to hear the dryer is doing a solid job with the core task, and your tip about adjusting the setting for mixed loads is really helpful. That said, it's completely understandable how the quiet end-of-cycle alert could feel underwhelming. When you're in another room and still can't hear it—even in a modestly sized home—it can make the feature feel more decorative than functional. A notification you can’t hear doesn’t really serve its purpose. As for the steam cycle, discovering that it requires a direct water line, especially when your local water quality isn't ideal, can certainly affect how useful that feature feels in day-to-day life. When expectations around a setting don’t quite match how it works in practice, it can leave you feeling like you’re not getting the full value from the appliance. A practical workaround is to connect your dryer to the SmartThings app on your mobile device. This model supports that integration, and once set up, you’ll receive a notification on your phone when the cycle ends. That way, you don’t have to rely on the built-in chime, which can be too quiet to hear from another room. The mobile alert gives you a much more reliable heads-up, especially when you're busy or working in a different part of the house.
