Excellent- served Christmas Day for dinner- a hit with all

Good was a tender and delicious roast.

To expense a lb. $86.00. Definitely not worth it.

The meat was mostly fat, for a prime cut it was terrible. I made it for my huabands 50th birthday and was terribly disappointed.

I purchased a rib roast for Easter dinner. The marbling on the prime was nicer than the one on the choice, so I chose the prime. This was one of the tastiest and most tender roasts I've ever purchased. Well worth the money

Prime is the key word here, folks, and PRIME IT IS. We have made three of these prime ribeye roasts in the catering kitchen in the past month and theirs is 5 STAR Mouth Watering Prime Rib. Excellent quality.

Roast was listed as PRIME but did not live up to prime status. It was a choice at best. Cooked to a temp of 135 which is medium. Father-in- law was a butcher who knew everything about meat. I paid a premium and was extremely disappointed in the quality. I should have gone to Harris Teeter and purchase an Angus roast which I have in the past however Sam's prime should have been better but wasn't. Don't waste your money.

The roast wasn't trimmed well. I chose a $100 roast through pickup and the shopper gave me a $60 roast. It was the smallest fattiest roast ever. I needed to feed 8 people and the roast only fed 5. The meat wasn't marbled well. The roast itself shouldn't have been sold but the shopper should know how to pick a decent selection of meat.

The best steak! Full of flavor, it was fork tender.
