While this is supposedly the "best" cut of meat you can buy (prime), not so sure. While it was extremely tender, I found it was really lacking flavor. Disappointed for the price I paid.

Very tasty Prime Rib.

Would have like to have the bone still attached if your gonna put the crappy elastic trussing on it. Speaking of bone, had bone chips from the saw all over the bottom Rinsed off almost all of it. Still spit out a chip or two. All that complaining aside, incredible taste, outstanding cut and very well marbled. Could tell from the first bite you were eating true prime. Will definitely purchase again but guess I will inspect it better when I get home so I don't crack a tooth.

I bought this yesterday and it weighed 12.24lb at $13.98/lb total cost is $171.12. I thought it was be a better deal than the pre-cut ones for $16.98/lb. But after trimming fat off to getting it look like the pre-cut version. The fat I trimmed off weighed 3.20lb thus making it more expensive than pre-cut ones at $19.00/lb. I guess sometime it doesn't pay to buy in bulk.

Fresh. Cooked nicely. Tender. Flavorful.

This roast was very disappointing. Most of it was scrappy and inedible.

Tasted like prime cut instead of choice! Excellent marbling .
