I like this TG. It came already put together (other than one of the pull appartus). I had to go on you-tube to figure out how to get the glider to different levels. Once I saw the video on you-tube I was set. The TG comes with two DVDs (which I haven't looked at yet) a manual of different workouts and a flip chart of workouts. I haven't broken it in yet, but I have a feeling I will be using this often. Also it is easy to stow away because of moving "wheels" at the bottom once it's folded up. I'd recommend it.

Perfect home gym addition! It gives you hundreds of ways to build and refine muscular definition. The options and additional pieces can be overwhelming but there are many resources available to assist in creativity. Quality is great and the price was excellent.

I have had the unit assembled for a couple of weeks and used a couple times a day 4 days a weeks. It seems to be good quality and was packed very well. I put it together myself (56 yr old female), but should have waited for DH to help me. I still haven't added the attachments so can't comment on them yet. The mat slips around on hardwood floor but it will be fine for now, as it only really slips when I change the incline. It is pretty heavy and awkward to move. I had to move it to a different room and folding it up to move is not something I want to do very often. It does take up quite a bit of space, so make sure you measure your available area before purchasing. It comes with a couple of videos which I have not reviewed yet. I watched some videos on youtube to get some basic moves down for now. I would like to have a taller platform for squats in order to have knees at a 45 degree angle. I am trying to get an injured ankle to strengthen, and in rehab they had me do squats on a machine called a shuttle, and knees had to be at 45 degrees for correct form in order to work the right muscles. The only real issue I had so far is my Flip Chart has the hole on the wrong side of the cards so it is upside-down. I am going to punch new holes in the other side of the cards and it will be okay. I haven't tried to called them about it since it isn't a big deal. One other thing that annoys me is that when you are doing squats the cable handles hit the floor every time you go up. I tried to hang them out of the way but it seems to put a drag on the gliding motion. So they hang there and bang the floor. I researched a bunch of different models offered at other retailers and this one seemed to be the best bang for your buck in terms of looks, quality and included accessories. Overall, I highly recommend this to anyone looking to get in better shape. Also, all of the questions that I asked here were answered correctly and is much appreciated. So thanks to those who answered. If you have been been thinking about getting one of these, I suggest you get this one before it's gone from Sams. I can't tell you how many times I saw something I wanted at Sams and waited too long and missed out.

I used to work out regularly until I hurt my back. Until I purchased this unit i had bad results trying to get past my injury. The movement for core training is awesome. I’m pain free finally. It’s been 5 years since my injury and I credit this unit for finally getting out of the hole I’ve been in. However, you have to put in the work for it to work.

I really wanted to love this but the bar that supports the machine in the front especially is way too small and it makes the machine wobble. It almost fell completely over to one side while I was on it and Iet me assure you I was not doing anything crazy. Its dangerous to have a machine that uses your weight to glide you into exercises and not have steady legs to support the machine. I am very disappointed in the total gym but I am thankful that Sams Club allowed me to return it.

I have had this equipment for a little over a month and I am ver pleased. The number of exercises you can do are limitless. I recently had a knee replacement and doing squats on the total gym has really increased my mobility while literally no pressure on the joints. You have to be patient and find out what works for you but I am in my 50's and I really like the fact that it helps you stretch while performing the exercises and that is the key to staying mobil. I have always wanted to try one of these and this unit for the price is fantastic. Enjoy you can't go wrong with this machine if you want to continue remaining mobil.

great machine, however the foot board is way to small and low. I will need to purchase a larger/taller one. All of the other attachments make up for this one fault. easy to set up and use. Price is excellent for all of the add ons you get with this machine.

Received the product several days ago. My immediate experience includes: 1. Found a loose nut when unpacking. No idea where it goes. 2. Found a round piece of black plastic. I determined it was part of a plug that had broken off. Doesn’t appear to be crucial to operation, but STILL. 3. The lower priced model comes with access to streaming workouts. This more expensive model came with 2 DVDs-they are useless. 4. There is absolutely no reference to customer service. No phone number, no email, no website listed in any of the printed materials. Shall I assume that because I bought this from Sam’s Club and didn’t purchase from a TV commercial at inflated prices, that I am not entitled to customer service? 5. Changing out different accessories is more trouble than it is worth.

if you plan on doing any type of squat put aside another hundred plus for a human size squat pad (bottom platform). That aside, the xtras are nice because they are also not cheap if you purchase them as add ons. Great deal here compared with other sellers. so glad i got last week seeing how price increased. still a good deal tho.

If you have the time it will give you results. I use this gym like you would get with a good Mon-Fri HBCT P.T. routine. At 57 the results seem to be pretty dang quick. This machine is an upper body maker if you ask me, and best for endurance and tonning. I do three sets of 30, level 6, decline, incline, and use a bar for a wider grip. Privided hand holds are too narrow if you want to work wide grip. I think if you're going all in on this you're going to have to suppliment with dumbbells for legs and bi/tri emphasis. There just isn't going to be enough resistance for serious gains of this is your goal. If you're looking for a machine that will work with maybe some supplementing for a better healthier life, this will do it.
