First, the package is heavy. Be prepared. Second, this is no cheap piece of junk. It is well made! I assume that the more expensive models are more refined (eg better rollers) but for the money it can't be beat. It does take a little getting used to but you can go quickly from one exercise to another.

Excellent well built piece of exercise equipment. Lots of attachments that are easy to switch out with pull pin, except the dip bars. I had to tilt to the side to see where to place the pin. Lots of videos on YouTube to give you workout ideas. I highly recommend for strength training.

I didn't take it out the box waiting for my Brother to help me put it together, well 3 weeks went by and it's still in the box after lusting after this product for years, so I decide let's watch a youtube video on how to put together, and the instructor was a female, I said if she can do it so can I, I was so proud of myself because I'm a girly girl who normally call on my Bro to put together/build/fix everything! But I DID IT, mainly because it comes put together out the box !

I bought this for my wife and daughters. They like it and I haven't heard any complaints about it, yet. They like to work out, but don't like free weights or weight machines. This is neither of those, it is entirely different. Easy to assemble and some of the exercises are interesting. You can get a good work out from the machine; my wife and kids just have to get used to some of the movements. They can be a bit odd, from a traditional workout. Easy to assemble since most of it is already put together. Directions are easy to follow, and the components seem like they are of decent quality. It doesn't take up that much floor space, it can be folded down and stored under a bed if the bed is tall enough. Overall, not a bad machine. Well, now it is time to for me to work out. Time to go and eat some brisket.

I am a senior and I purchased the Total Gym XL7 to ensure that I could get a total body workout no matter what the weather whenever I wanted to. I found it pretty easy to assemble (most things were already assembled, and the attachments were the only parts that I needed to be added. Being kind on lockdown seemed to make me weak and I wanted to build my overall body strength. I love that fact that you can adjust the resistance to your level and adjust it as you build your strength. I would recommend this item to a friend

Ordered this unit online and received it when they said I would. It is a heavy piece of equipment so to ensure no injury have assistance to get it in the house. It is for the most part completely assembled and ready to go for most of your workout. I have been very impressed with how easy yet effective it is to use. You can work all your muscle groups and it is designed to get you started as a new workout individual or as a individual who has been working out for years. The quality of this unit is a high caliber and made to last. If you are considering a workout unit to use at home I highly recommend this one! No regrets on my part.

I love my new Total Gym! It has many attachments, 2 dvds and is well built. I wondered how good the quality would be at such a low price point but no need to worry; it should last for many many years. The included instructions are very poor, however, and I had to search online to help with the setup. I’m looking forward to exercising on my Total Gym for many years to come. Thank you Sam’s for offering such a great product at a very reasonable price!

Great Gym for all to stay physically fit. I am 84 pushing 85 this summer, my second total gym As I needed one in my winter home. Fit all our needs compact, easy to setup and take down for storage. The workout is easily set for the younger folks as well as the older generation.

The Total Gym, so far, seems solid and works smoothly. You do have to be careful not to lean to one side while doing an exercise, and to get on and off carefully, because the sliding bench can become unseated from the roller quite easily. The mat sent with it is kind of a joke, since it barely reaches under both legs, so that it constantly needs adjusting in order to stay on. The directions say to use a mat under the gym or put it on carpet. So now I have two mats, one that came with it for one end, and another yoga mat of my own for the other. Kind of a weird thing to skimp on. Also, and I don't know if this is Sam's Club's fault or Federal Express, but my delivery date went from the 19th of January, to the 15th, back to the 19th, and then the 22nd, which is the day on which I finally got it.

I was looking for exercise equipment to provide me with the capability to improve and maintain my physical strength needs. The adds for total gym seem to be the solution. After getting it and setting up, I am a little disappointed. I am 6'4" and a lot of the exercises are difficult to perform at my height. I am still adjusting to the equipment and hope to use it effectively going forward.
