At 63 and trying to stay out of covids way, I decided to try Total gym. Its very easy to use and works out all muscle groups I like to target. The Sams Club XL7 is a fantastic value compared to the TG website. Im extremely happy i found this on SC online.

First, the package is heavy. Be prepared. Second, this is no cheap piece of junk. It is well made! I assume that the more expensive models are more refined (eg better rollers) but for the money it can't be beat. It does take a little getting used to but you can go quickly from one exercise to another.

I bought this for my wife and daughters. They like it and I haven't heard any complaints about it, yet. They like to work out, but don't like free weights or weight machines. This is neither of those, it is entirely different. Easy to assemble and some of the exercises are interesting. You can get a good work out from the machine; my wife and kids just have to get used to some of the movements. They can be a bit odd, from a traditional workout. Easy to assemble since most of it is already put together. Directions are easy to follow, and the components seem like they are of decent quality. It doesn't take up that much floor space, it can be folded down and stored under a bed if the bed is tall enough. Overall, not a bad machine. Well, now it is time to for me to work out. Time to go and eat some brisket.

This is a great piece of exercise equipment that works every muscle in your body. But beware it is a little heavier than they make it appear in the infomercials. They make it look so easy to fold up and slide under a bed. I can assure you it isn't that easy especially for one person to do. Mine will stay set up because it is too hard to fold up and set up to many times. That is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. Other than that, I love the total gym and can't wait to see my results after using it for a while.

Great workout with the Total Gym! I have been using it a week and going along with the DVD provided. You will feel it using many of the muscle groups you may have forgotten about. Looking forward to a noticeable improvement in the mirror and endurance.

The Total Gym, so far, seems solid and works smoothly. You do have to be careful not to lean to one side while doing an exercise, and to get on and off carefully, because the sliding bench can become unseated from the roller quite easily. The mat sent with it is kind of a joke, since it barely reaches under both legs, so that it constantly needs adjusting in order to stay on. The directions say to use a mat under the gym or put it on carpet. So now I have two mats, one that came with it for one end, and another yoga mat of my own for the other. Kind of a weird thing to skimp on. Also, and I don't know if this is Sam's Club's fault or Federal Express, but my delivery date went from the 19th of January, to the 15th, back to the 19th, and then the 22nd, which is the day on which I finally got it.

Ordered this unit online and received it when they said I would. It is a heavy piece of equipment so to ensure no injury have assistance to get it in the house. It is for the most part completely assembled and ready to go for most of your workout. I have been very impressed with how easy yet effective it is to use. You can work all your muscle groups and it is designed to get you started as a new workout individual or as a individual who has been working out for years. The quality of this unit is a high caliber and made to last. If you are considering a workout unit to use at home I highly recommend this one! No regrets on my part.

We are a family that gets regular exercise. We purchased this for our high school aged son to begin working out at home. Both he and his dad have used every other night following the detailed schedule. They have both enjoyed. Took around a half hour to assemble and this was a gift to our son. He is enjoying it and we are enjoying that he is learning about building muscle and exercising.

This machine is a great way to get a workout. So far, I've just been doing things on my own, not as instructed, still I'm building up stamina after only 2 weeks. When I first watched the video, I could barely begin the warm-up exercises. Now I can do each one, although not the full length that the trainer does. I'm excited to continue my journey. On a side note, I'm a 66 year old male and I purchased this because I am going through radiation therapy for cancer and I was told that exercise was a great way to combat fatigue. So far, it's working.

I debated on whether to buy a total gym but decided to give it a try and am so happy I did! I am very pleased with the quality of the machine for what I paid. After pricing at several other online sites, I decided this was the best value. The product arrived in the timeline promised and included all the attachments mentioned. The wing attachment with this unit is two pieces verses the one piece in the videos, but you can still do the exercises or do something similar. I have had this product for 3 weeks and have used it almost everyday. I am 50 and bought it to strengthen and tone and it is working! It also really engages your core which is a great benefit. I can exercise at my convenience which I love! My husband has been using it as well and likes it too. There is a learning curve to figuring out the attachments and the exercises you can do. The 2 DVDs are good but there are also a lot of videos you can watch online to get ideas. I am excited about this machine because I really feel like I will be using it for a long time!
