I used to work out regularly until I hurt my back. Until I purchased this unit i had bad results trying to get past my injury. The movement for core training is awesome. I’m pain free finally. It’s been 5 years since my injury and I credit this unit for finally getting out of the hole I’ve been in. However, you have to put in the work for it to work.

Received the product several days ago. My immediate experience includes: 1. Found a loose nut when unpacking. No idea where it goes. 2. Found a round piece of black plastic. I determined it was part of a plug that had broken off. Doesn’t appear to be crucial to operation, but STILL. 3. The lower priced model comes with access to streaming workouts. This more expensive model came with 2 DVDs-they are useless. 4. There is absolutely no reference to customer service. No phone number, no email, no website listed in any of the printed materials. Shall I assume that because I bought this from Sam’s Club and didn’t purchase from a TV commercial at inflated prices, that I am not entitled to customer service? 5. Changing out different accessories is more trouble than it is worth.

Always wanted one of these and at Sam’s the price was good and it had attachments. Arrived much earlier than estimated. Works great. Leg pull accessory o-ring wouldn’t fit on the glide board hook (faulty hook with extra metal welded on). A couple emails between me and Total Gym and they sent me a new glide board. This machine works great for me for my level to try and build muscle and get/stay in shape as I get older. I’m glad I finally ordered one!

I've personally owned and used most fitness equipment available on the market over the past 50 years. I am 70 years old, work out six days a week and have taught in many gyms across America. The Total Gym is by far the most advanced piece of total fitness equipment on the market. The company has not become complacent. They keep step with customer demands. I particularly like how they have added many attachments, especially for no more additional cost. For those that need more of a challenge increase your set reps to 20 and increase your sets to a minimum of 3. The only reason the Total Gym did not get a 5 star rating is because it would be nice if there were additional resistance technology built into the design for those that desire additional resistance. Want a challenge? Try doing one legged squats on level 12. Happy exercising and God bless!

As the title says this is the second TG I’ve owned. The first was 15 to 20 years ago. It was the one piece of gym equipment the wife and I would both use. It was an early version and a base unit at that but we found it very frustrating as the sled kept coming off the tracks and no amount of adjusting would help. Finally, she put it a garage sale. Fast forward to today and I just retired after a total hip and then knee replacements. Feeling the need to do more to rehab these joints and get ready for the golf season I looked into joining the local gym but was put off by their lackadaisical attitude toward Covid safety measures. Talking with the wife we decided to give TG another go and I’m glad we did. The improvements they’ve made are quite noticeable and the price was comparable to what the wife remembers paying for the first. It’s only been a day but I don’t see me having any regrets with our purchase.
