I have never received a better packaged item. Although the Total Gym was basically ready to go right out of the box, it took 15 minutes to "unwrap" all the zipties, styrofoam and cardboard used to ship it. I have never owned a Total Gym and I am quite impressed with the quality. I am also impressed with the price of the Sam's Club version which is half the price of similar models sold elsewhere. I am just over 300 pounds and this unit is very sturdy. Many of the simiIar priced Total Gyms support 250-300 pounds. This model supports 350 and I feel safe working out with it. If a Total Gym is in your future, and the budget is tight, this is your model.

Not at all what I expected. The videos showed a much better looking piece of equipment. This one looks cheaply made. I guess it's ok for beginners that don't want to spend too much on a home gym. Sorry I wasn't satisfied so I returned it. Didn't wamt to give it a horrible review so I gave it 3 stars.

Great quality at an affordable price! Easy to set up. My husband started using it right away and after a week, he is seeing a difference. I’m a little slower getting started on it but looking forward to watching the videos and learning to use the different attachments and exercises to customize my work out.

It provided a great workout from day one! When the delivery driver dropped it 100 feet from the house. It's a little heavy. Takes up quite a bit of room and you don't want to knock it down every day. But I'm still using it after 3 weeks and have not started hanging clothes on it yet.

I bought this for the leg crunches. It does that very well. There is a learning curve to operating this product and I did not find the manual very helpful. I like the rowing and stomach crunches and over all it is a good product for me. Well built. It helps to have the unit backed up against a wall, makes it easier to reposition.

Just getting started need to build arm and leg strength before doing the advanced exercises. I like it so far, easy to set up, fairly easy to fold up and store although some help may be required if your really weak. Low impact for beginners at the easy settings. Easy enough to use every day, work as little or as much as you want or need.

Bought a month ago, work out 3-4 times a week, progress great, can tell a difference, worth the investment. Great machine for core development. Be patient at start, you will be a bit clumsy starting and finishing routines. Repetitive and frequent workouts will improve coordination. Very important; have your workout routine planned before each workout. Keep track of exercises, reps, and total workout time. You can't manage what you can't measure.

This is one of the best investments I’ve ever made. There are so many different functions and accessories with this machine to get you toned. I haven’t used the DVDs yet but the booklet is wonderful. It’s hard to walk pass and not jump on for a quick workout. I was nervous about ordering online without being able to check it out in person, but I am so happy that I did. Don’t hesitate. You won’t be disappointed!

I am impressed with how solidly this is built. The metal is extremely sturdy and well-made. I am a large person, and I feel comfortable on it and using it. Other machines that I owned did not accommodate my large size, especially for leg exercises, since I am very tall (6'5"). This machine works well for someone who is very tall. I'm happy with my purchase.

Lots of different exercises at different resistance levels keep this machine from getting boring. Wanted one for many years but they were always so expensive. Usually between $900-$1200. I couldn’t justify spending that kind of money so when I saw this one as the deal of the day for $249 I jumped on it. I have not been disappointed, would definitely recommend.
