It was easy to set up but lots of attachments and very poorly written black and white tinny pictures impossible to decipher. It comes with a DVD, so looking for a DVD player now to see if it helps figure it out.

Well worth the money, in my opinion! It does everything I need for a workout, and it's all very easy to change the attachments. I work at home, so it's very handy to just go in and do 10 minutes here and there, and it adds up throughout the day.

My wife and I have been using the Total Gym XL7 for several weeks now and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a low impact workout at home. Its versatility let's you be creative in the way you work out each muscle group and you can find ways to get a good workout even with the limiting factor of the maximum incline position. I am also 6'4" and have no problems fitting on the machine and using it for all of the exercises that I do.

Lots of different exercises at different resistance levels keep this machine from getting boring. Wanted one for many years but they were always so expensive. Usually between $900-$1200. I couldn’t justify spending that kind of money so when I saw this one as the deal of the day for $249 I jumped on it. I have not been disappointed, would definitely recommend.

Great quality at an affordable price! Easy to set up. My husband started using it right away and after a week, he is seeing a difference. I’m a little slower getting started on it but looking forward to watching the videos and learning to use the different attachments and exercises to customize my work out.

This product is perfect. It is easy to set up and use; and, it provides a total body workout. Storage when not in use is great - folds us out of the way. I highly recommend this for anyone needing to work out that has limited space and a limited budget.

Overall the Total Gym exceeded my expectations. The only negative comment I have is regarding the floor mat. After several weeks it still does not lay flat on the floor and it is too short, only a fraction of an inch longer than the Total Gym itself, and the material it is made of slides around on the floor. I have opted to use a couple of yoga mats insead.

I bought this a few weeks ago and have been using it every other day. My wife and I are both moderately fit people but find this easy to use and it always gets each of us a great workout. There are so many different workouts with one machine and the add-ons that come with it, I strongly recommend this to anyone considering a home gym!

I hesitated for several weeks before purchasing this item from Sam’s club. I am so glad I did though. It seems extremely well-made and sturdy. A very simple but ingenious concept! All body weight and gravity! I expect this item to last for many years. And has already been mentioned, possibly one of the best packaged Items that I have ever purchased online. The mat does come with the equipment. So for those who did not get the mat, I would try contacting the manufacturer as that was likely an error. The set up instructions and exercise instructions are in perfect English (!) and answered any questions I had during unpacking and complete set up, and use. The only recommendation I would have for the future is for one of the DVDs included to be for beginner instead of intermediate fitness level. I am using this to rehab an injured shoulder, and for Dr. Ben’s super slow SMaRT training with my own modifications to protect the shoulder. It is an excellent machine!

I bought this for the leg crunches. It does that very well. There is a learning curve to operating this product and I did not find the manual very helpful. I like the rowing and stomach crunches and over all it is a good product for me. Well built. It helps to have the unit backed up against a wall, makes it easier to reposition.
