Just installed this Microwave and was feeling overwhelmed by its functions. I have always bought Panasonic Microwaves but decided to give LG a try. The first item I wanted to cook was a frozen dinner that I had made……I could not find a sensor to do this….tried checking YouTube for a video on the functions for this microwave but could not find anything…any assistance would be welcomed.

We were really disappointed with one specific problem that became immediately obvious the first day after installing this microwave. THE CONTROLS ARE NOT ILLUMINATED!!! This is not a problem when all the kitchen lights are turned on, but we find it extremely difficult to see the control panel buttons when the kitchen is only partially illuminated. Other than that problem, the microwave works very well. It's just hard to make the microwave work correctly when you cannot see the controls. Users have submitted many pictures of their installed microwaves. In none of those pictures can you see the controls that are located on the front of the microwaves. I would not buy this microwave again, nor would I recommend this microwave. We are very disappointed and we are considering return of this microwave.

Cooks evenly, heats perfectly and appreciate all the choices to complete each and every meal. It took a little bit of adjusting to the wide door but now find it not an issue at all.

This unit was purchased to replace a 3 year old LG Microwave that I had to replace control boards twice after the 2 year warranty expired. Always had great experience with LG products except for that last one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The microwave is great. I love the choices of quick times for various items. I likthat there is no handle sticking out. It is very sleek. There is just one thing on the number panel, I wish it would illuminate, because you always need a bright light on to see the panel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We also bought an LG stove with all the extra features (convection, air fry) so we didn't need anything more than a basic microwave. This was the perfect size for the space we had. Most microwaves were 1/2 to 1 inch taller and the previous owner had tiled the wall almost all the way up to the old microwave.

Definitely a great buy, love the sleek design and ThinQ app is great features for all LG appliances and I like being able to preset my Microwave nightlight on and off hours so I do not have to manage another item and not waste energy. The list of presets and power modes are easy to use and so far accurate for cooking food times. I even like on the app you can scan food bar code, and it will be able to accurately cook premade foods easier. Overall vent and microwave good quality. We love the 4 speed and boost mode on hood. Easy convertible from recirculating to vented.

I bought this microwave a month ago and am generally pleased with this model. There are some improvements that I would suggest. The light under the oven is barely betten than a night light. More light shining down on the cooktop below would be great! The buttons on the glass door are impossible to read in the dark. The kitchen lights must be on to use the microwave.

I like the many and easy to understand cooking options. The speed is fast but not quite as fast as I was expecting. 1 recommendation I would have for the manufacturer is to have a back light for the control panel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought this a few days ago, spent yesterday installing it and today was woken up by grandson telling me it doesn’t work. I tried it and confirmed it doesn’t work. Really! So much for the most reliable appliance. I have an LG dishwasher, stove and refrigerator being delivered on Tuesday. Let’s hope I don’t have the same experience with those appliances. Very disappointed.
