I've had this microwave for a couple weeks now and love it. It looks very sleek and has alot of power. When opened, the door is longer than the standard over the range microwaves and it took a little getting used to, but not an issue. I would recommend.

I love the way you open the door...you pull it open from the side. Very different than most microwaves. It's easy to use and comes with easy instructions too. When I have company over, the first thing they notice is my microwave. Everybody loves it. I love LG products and have plans to get a LG stove soon.

My girlfriend sleeps on the couch sometimes and I do not talk with her if she is not awake as I cannot bother her with any questions. I was at work and the app let me know that the food was done cooking. I knew that she just used the microwave so I knew she was awake. I called and said I knew she was up and she asked how I knew. The microwave told me on my phone. She laughed so hard and I did too. It is a great microwave and it looks good too. Garry Millard

Great microwave! Cooks evenly. I like the way you can scan the barcode to cook meals through the LG ThinQ app. You can even tell Alexa to turn things on, on the microwave (light, fan, etc...) ,,,,, The wattage is strong, so it cooks fast less time. Easy to clean. I like the fact there is no handle on the door, a much cleaner look. The dark stainless steel cleans a lot easier than the regular stainless steel. I switch my kitchen to all dark stainless steel.

This microwave was just another addition to my already extensive lg appliance collection and it fits right in. Beautifully designed but more importantly it does an amazing job reheating specific dishes based on what options you choose. The only drawback is it makes the rest of my kitchen look outdated.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this to replace a 25 year old Amana Microwave that I loved and never thought I would find one I like better, but my new LG fills the gag. It has many features that I will probably never learn to use, but the ones I use are great.

Our old microwave stopped working, so we were in need of a new one fast. Only requirements it needed to have was 1) must be installed over the range, and 2) greater than 1000 watts. This microwave covered both, the price was reasonable, and it was available for immediate pickup. We been using this oven for a little more than a month and are happy with it, for the most part. The features (popcorn, reheat, melt, etc) work better than our old unit, and it runs much quieter. Also, the door opens quietly and I don't feel like I am slamming it when closing. The only drawback to this model is it is difficult for my wife to see inside when cooking. She and my daughter are 4 ft 11 inches tall. With the door closed, although the button panel is easily reachable, it covers the bottom portion of the door, making it hard for them to see inside the microwave while cooking. They have to use a step stool. This is not a major concern, but information some people may want to consider. We plan to buy a new microwave and move it to a more reasonable location for the height impaired once we remodel the kitchen. So they will make due until then

Recent replacement for a broken unit. Lots of buttons for specific functions, many of which I haven’t used yet. Still learning. One criticism: viewing window is very restrictive due to large blackout area on the door. Makes it very difficult for anyone who is shorter than six feet to see what is going on inside the oven when the microwave is installed over a kitchen stove. Otherwise a smart looking addition to our kitchen with many useful features

I have been using microwaves since the 1980's so I have used quite a few different types and brands in my time. This microwave is powerful, which I like. The design and finish are what my wife and I liked best. Here are my only negatives (design decisions flaws/ergonomics issues really): 1. In order to start cooking you have to first touch the Cook button, then enter the time desired, then hit the Start button. Why isn't the default action Cook? Meaning why can't I just enter a time, then touch the Start button? 1A. Oddly, if you touch the +30 seconds button it automatically starts to cook. 2. I have an LG oven too and I like to have the exact time displayed (or pretty close) as both my wife and I use the clocks when we enter/leave the house. I set the exact time with my atomic time watch, but the clock consistently runs fast. This is noticeable even the next day. It is not off by a few seconds but 15 or so. Again, oddly, I did set up Wi-Fi, that with other connected devices, the time gets synched to an internet time server of some type making a manual clock setting obsolete. The LC oven clock keeps pretty good time. 3. I installed the ThinQ app on my iPhone 14 Pro. After a couple of days, I deleted the app from my phone. I was constantly getting notifications that I could not set independently of each of the types of alerts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased in May of 2023. Installed late June due to scheduling delays, install contractor was good. Not in use most of July due to being out of town. Worked great for August, then failed in September for unknown reason. At this time, we have been without the ability to use for 2 weeks. Parts shipped out to house, but repair technician did not show on scheduled repair date. Now waiting for week 3 without ability to use - will see once repair is done.
