I purchased this television a few weeks ago and could not be more thrilled. The picture quality is great, the sound is awesome, and the features are hard to beat. The remote control offers different ways to access my media and the mobile application to control the television works wonders, especially having a QWERTY keyboard that makes searching a breeze.

I don't need a separate sound bar. I'm still having trouble connecting it to the internet wi-fi to watch streaming services through Xfinity. But that may be user error .

LG operating system has always been my favorite and throughout the years it has only gotten better. It gets more streamlined and simpler to use, expanding app selection, and the interconnectivity with other LG products makes it so amazing. The picture quality improves each time as well. The dimensions of the TV, especially how thin and flat they are make them easy to place and make it a breeze to use a wall mount with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like all the features of the 65UR8000AUA TV. The color and detail are excellent. The sound is very good even without an extra sound bar. The offerings of a wide varity of both free and subscription TV channels are all there. I like the fact that the TV software can automatically update itself through the internet. WiFi and Bluetooth functionality is there. The only thing I think is weak in this product is the Alexa interface. Although it is there and it does work, it is quite limited in it's skillset. But overall, I think this is a great TV.

We love the picture and ease of using this TV. We have problems with the audio output. The sound is sometimes muffled and hard to understand. In working with some of the internal settings, we have not been able to improve. Not being "sound savvy" means that we don't understand the balance scale and what the different levels mean. We have spent a lot of time experimenting with the sound settings. Sad to say that we may have to purchase a sound bar, which we were not wanting to do after the investment in the TV. We don't understand why sound quality is not (1) more adjustible, (2) tone adjustible, and (3) clarity is more adjustible.

Picture and sound are good. Connected easily with my LG soundbar. Set up was easy. Navigation between cable and streaming services is simple and intuitive. Only issue I have noticed is slow to start up and connect with my cable box. Slower than I am used to when navigating like pulling up channel line up. Love the magic remote.

The sound it great but we also now use our LG sound bar and it's like being in a small movie theater! I love how the picture will self-adjust to eliminate any glare! Money well spent.

This is an excellent tv for the price. It's HUGE! Picture is great, considering it is not QLED OR OLED. I'm sure paying between 50%-300% more for either of those technologies would give a little better performance, but in my opinion, not enough better to justify the additional cost. This 86” tv uses a faster processor than the smaller TVs in the 8000 series. The remote is well thought out and easy to use, but could use backlighting. The only other minor issue I have had is reflections from room lighting, but overall a great TV for the money.

Perfect for our needs. Not too big, not too small. Color is gorgeous. Setup was easy. Hooked up easily to the wireless LG sound bar. Remote is easy and intuitive to use. Price was the highest of the 65" models at Sam's but it was worth it. Highly recommend this unit.
