[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Delonghi Portable Air Conditioner is a great little air conditioner that I'm thankful to have as a back up for our central A/C. This gives me peace of mind as our home a/c is older and tends to fail every other summer due to a capacitor. This Delonghi allows us to keep our bedroom cool in the summer months while we wait for repairs. It's reasonably quiet and takes the misery out of the heat.

Put this unit in the primary bedroom and it immediately cool the room down with ease. It was easy to set up. It's hooked up to the window and you go from there. Great thing is it has a Remote so if it gets too cold you can turn it off. Definitely need another so we can cut off the main unit more often

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great machine and I like it a lot. The remote is a definite plus and it's relatively quiet for its size also. I was shocked by how well it takes the humidity out of the air. I initially thought that I could have the condensate line drain into a plastic tub about the size of a shoebox, which holds about 1 gallon of water, but nope. It can dehumidify so well that it will fill that tub up in about 1 hour of running. I ended up screwing on a section of an old garden hose and running the house outside to drain. This AC works well and has lots of features, but it's just not powerful enough to overpower the inefficiently of my garage. My garage is a standard 2-car and no, it's not insulated in the slightest. I realize that insulation would help a lot, but that's for another day. I am venting the hot exhaust into the garage attic space and out the roof, so I did have to purchase an exhaust hose extension. But I think I'm making it work for a scenario that it may not be specifically designed for. Well, for the outcome...In this Texas heat, the garage is normally rather humid and about 95-100 degrees or so. With this AC unit set up and running, I can keep the garage to around 80-85 degrees and much dryer air. It definitely makes the garage far more bearable to work in, and I plan on adding insulation to the garage door and such.

We live in a hot area, so we tend to keep the air a bit cooler upstairs for the kids, however, our master always seems to stay warm. This portable A/C has been nice to help keep our room cool without having to adjust our thermostat in the house too much. I'd recommend to others!

Be mindful of the caution stickers though to if it was transported on its side to let sit upright before powering on. I have this setup in my garage using my window to exhaust the heat out with the included hardware. Being in Florida doing work in my garage does get hot and this unit has been a lifesaver and allowing me to work longer for my small business. The dehumidifier has allowed me to also do some epoxy work without having to wait longer cure times with higher humidity here. Fan option I have not used due to it always being hot but I am sure it works just as great! The eco mode definitely helps and have not seen a huge increase in any power usage cost. The remote has a display that allows you to monitor what is going on with the unit without having to walk up to it. Maintenance and cleaning is easy to follow and quickly get back up and going. As always with it being portable I can wheel it around the house as needed and not having to carry with my arms. Highly recommend if you need something portable, programmable, eco friendly, easy to maintain, and multiple functionality!

We program our central system to go to 83 at night and return back to whole house a/c in the morning. This unit is used in our bedroom to provide comfort during the night hours. We keep the bedroom door closed. Its quite that we don't hear it at all. Get it and save the environment and your pocketbook.
