[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently built on to our house, making it bigger than our current central ac can cool. It's also a 130 year old home that isn't insulated the best. It gets very very hot here in south Louisiana. Every afternoon it is almost 90 inside my house even though our thermostat is on 65. I added this portable Ac unit and we are finally cool! I was able to put both units on 72 and it's 72 in my house! Both units are shutting off instead of running all day and my electric bill being sky high. It says it cools 500sq ft but it feels like a much bigger area that it cools. It was very easy to install, it took only minutes. It is made very well and easy to roll from place to place if needed. I'm very happy with the unit and so is all of my family. We aren't miserably hot all the time.

Unit did not cool a single room 12x 12 below 80 degrees during the day

Constantly needs to be drained from bottom port which is very difficult to do.

This is my 2nd unit because the 1st one is so good. I highly recommend it.

Love this brand! We have 3. Drain them at the end of the season. Very little maintenance.

Not giving this more than 3 stars, as of 2026 it has died on me. Worked very well for the first three years. Now it has started freezing up on the coils in the back and doesn't put out cool air.

Easy to get set up! Works perfectly to keep our bedroom cooler than the rest of the house. Works great and would highly recommend!

Does cool off a 400 sq ft area very nice. Its a bit louder that I want but I rather deal with the noise vs the heat.

The unit itself works well. The only problem is that the exhaust hose is too short and you cannot find any extension hoses anywhere that fit this machine.
