[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you live in the south where it can get a hundred plus for 4-6 months out of the year then you need one of these portable AC units. It's inevitable that your air conditioner will break. This cools the room quickly and is so easy to setup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this unit for our living area which has the most windows in the house and doesn't stay cool during the hotter months. Unit came well packaged and in perfect condition. Unboxed and had it set up next to a window and running in minutes. We vent the hot air out of the window - thoughtful design with the vent tube / hose and window adapter. Unit is quiet and blows very pleasing cold, dry air. Cools our living area down nicely and makes the house a more pleasant place to live! I wish we had put one of these in years ago. I appreciate the remote control and how well it works from anywhere in the room, and that the kit comes with everything you need to get up and running within minutes.
