The above picture is not a photo of the oxtails I purchased. The oxtails were extremely fatty, I returned them.

Very disappointed and dissatisfied with this product. After trimming fat there was barely any meat left. Now I have to go spend even more money at the butcher shop to get quality meat. Do better Sam’s

I love that I can get these now at Sams club. It is true that it is super fatty and will cause broths to be oily but my recommendation would be to cut out the fat-preboil them to get rid of the additional oil and rinse off then use it for your broth. Overall would still get for my dishes!

Every time I shop for oxtails at the store, they are usually sold out. This time I was lucky enough to grab a package and I did not care what it cost. I slow cooked them my usual way. I was disappointed to find many of the pieces tough to chew, we can go to meet with falling off the bone.

Price and quality are decent. Would be better if so much fat wasn’t left on them
