this is the worst piece of meat I have ever seen in my life and im 72 years old. I thought I try it because in internet said it was good for a stew but 1/2 of it is fat and grizzle and it is very hard to separate the meat from the fat.

I paid $36 just for half of the package to be literally all fat.. a bit disappointed with this purchase

The package was a little over 4 pounds and by the time you trim all of the waste you might have a pound of usable product. Very disappointing

After I trimmed 7lbs, I ended up with maybe 1-2pounds if that. Such a waste. The rest was mainly fat and sinew. Will try to make tallow and dog snacks. But still very disappointed.

These beef cheeks were not processed at all outside of being cut off the cows head and packaged. More than half of the package was hard fat. I won’t be purchasing this from Sam’s Club again.

30% stew beef, 50% hard fat, 20% sinewy trim i will render the fat into tallow and the trim into broth so it's not a total waste. If i buy in the future, it will likely be to mix in with wild venison grind to up the fat content.

Price is deceptive. Out of 20 packs, there was only 1 worth the price. After the trimming, the price is closer to $9-10 per pound. I wonder if the 1 good pack was trimmed by a new person, that valued quality of work.

Delicious and tender but at least 1/3 was all fat that was enjoyed by my dogs.
