This is my second time trying this product. There won't be a third. I weighed it out this time; 7.25lbs total product, 4.05lbs waste. That works out to almost $9/lb for usable meat. I might as well buy chuck and save some money and not spend the better part of an hour trying to trim out the unusable bits that ended up as a pot of broth.

Overpriced a lott of fat

I put this on the smoker, it was very tasty. After trimming the fat and silver skin off this I had two pounds of meat and three pounds of waste. Yes, because I was so disappointed in the pile of meat I weighed both piles. I will not buy again. I will not recommend.

5.8-pound package and only 1.2 pounds of usable meat. If I wanted to pay essentially $22/lb, I’d buy elsewhere and not have to put in the extra effort or be concerned about carelessly handled meat, since it came out of the package mangled—almost as if the person cutting the meat had absolutely no idea what they were doing.

Meat had such a different taste than other times not good at all

Fantastic product! I love that they carry this cut of meat. You don’t see it everywhere. But this seems to have constant demand, and for good reason.

This is the first time the meat comes with too much fat. Overall, the cheek was good and I'll still continue buying it. Price is fair per pound.

After cutting the fat and seasoning, I smoked these for 2 hrs. and they were tender and delicious. They made great tacos.

I never bought this kind of meat and I was pleasantly surprised how good it is. I will definitely buy it again
