Awful Treadwear!

These came with my new 2021 Ford F-150 purchased 17 months ago. I’ve got 28,800 miles on them and the treadwear is alarming. I’m used to getting 70,000 miles + on previous Michelin truck tires so this was a shock. I’m a bit worried about going into the winter months here in Wisconsin on these tires which currently have 4/32” tread depth, especially when looking at other reviewers’ comments about substandard traction on snow covered roads.

Horrible in any condition other than dry pavement

These tires are absolutely terrible in any condition other than dry pavement/asphalt. Forget about traction on even a slight dusting of snow, even with more than 2/3 of tread depth left, and even in 4x4. I had these tires on my 2019 F150 for less than a week before I purchased new tires. These are not "all-season" tires.

Awful tires

These tires came stock on my 2019 Ford F 150 Lariat. Nice looking tires. I now have 36,000 miles on them. In dry conditions, they are fine tires. However, in the least bit of snow they lose traction horrendously. I have used the 4 wheel drive to get up the slightest grade in 2 inches of snow! We towed a 6000 pound travel trailer, with an anti sway weight distributing hitch, from Michigan to Arizona in January. I had to watch the steering constantly when on anything other than completely dry conditions. It was so bad that we stopped to make sure the hitch was set up properly and it was, I am going to look for replacement tires before we leave here next month. These tires should never have been put onto this truck.

worn out too quickly

I recently purchased a 2020 F150. When I saw that it had Michelin tires i was pleased. Now with only 33500 miles on the truck one of the tires is worn down to the wear bars and the others are not far behind. Disappointed that these tires need to be replaced so soon. 275/65R18 116t I think these are supposed to have a 55,000-mile tread wear warranty.

Owner

The tires came on a F-150 Lightning. The tires handle great! However, the front tires showed excess wear on tread prior to the warranty 55,000 miles. The tire failed prior to 55,000 miles on highway. Lucky I was at a stop light at the time the tire failed. After the tire failed, moving the car slightly damaged the rim. It appear the beads of the tire from, which exposed the rim.

Great Tire

These tires came on My 2018 Chevy Dually when new and I've been quite pleased with their performance. I pull a heavy fifth wheel trailer and have not experienced any issues with traction. However, I've never had the truck in snow so I cannot attest to their effectiveness in that situation. I currently have 63000 mi on the truck and will be replacing these tires with the same model at I suspect 70000 mi. That should speak for their longevity.

Disappointing Wear

Came with new 2019 F-150 XLT Crew Cab. 17000kms now with only around 12000kms on the tires (Different winters) and they are incredibly disappointing. 2 are extremely worn even though my truck spends 90% of it's time in ECO mode and 2WD. When I bought the truck these were listed as "AT" tires, take that with a grain of salt, these are highway tires with a little groove on the side tread to make them look AT, on anything other than smooth dry asphalt these are absolute junk. Logging roads with a tiny bit of washboard will make these go totally wild. Can't wait to replace these the spring with something actually All-Terrain. Last set of Michelins I ever buy

These are the best overall tires I’ve ever owned.

These tires came stock with my 2020 Ford F-150. They have been very safe and reliable. I’ve had several nails and screws in them, they held up well and were easily repaired each time. Also, my wife has hit the curbs numerous times, and we never had any issues with them. The traction has been great in all kinds of driving conditions. They run smoothly, quietly, and they get great fuel mileage too. I just bought a brand new identical set to replace the original ones, and will definitely consider buying them again in the future. Highly recommended!

Not what I was hoping for

These tires came on a 2019 F-150 I just purchased with 17,000 miles on it. After running Michelins my whole life, I was sorely disappointed when we got two inches of snow a few weeks ago and I couldn't get out of my own way in two wheel drive. I went through two sets of LTX's on my last truck (Toyota Tundra TRD) and loved them. Great mileage, good traction, never an issue. Not the Primacy's. The only positive thing I can say about these was that they were easy on gas.

Happy with mine
5 out of 5 stars review

Absolutely no complaints with my 16 F150 Screw

Contrary to most of these reviews, I'm very happy with these tires and intend to replace them with the exact same. When the time comes of course. I now have well over 70K miles on them, and they still look good. I haven't even had a service center recommend replacement yet. They have been rotated twice and all wear very even. Far too many of these reviews are posted by those who, let's say, drive a bit recklessly, their area may be subject to bad roads, many chuck hole and no mention of alignment being checked. If I can a few others can exceed the rated mileage anybody else should also. So take those reviews with a grain of salt.
