[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture and sound are great but the controls are somewhat different and take time getting used to. The center button seems to have many possible effects, depending on where you are in the menus. I learned it can be used for pausing when watching a video. The LG channels are unique and not available on my other Smart TV's. I would give it 5 but the controls took me a long time to learn.

In the last 6 years having lived in 3 different countries, we have purchased good name brand televisions.What stood out was that out of 7 televisions, covering 4 major brands, that the LG televisions (we had 3) had a superior contrast and picture quality to any of the others. Thus when moving to our new home, and purchasing two new televisions yet again, we chose LG, and couln't be happier with the piture quality and myriad of features.

We are Roku users (vs. Android TV users), and this set is a very good $k LCD alternative.. An OLED display (whatever the current terminology) would be better, but it would also be a lot more expensive. The optical audio works perfectly with my LG sound bar. I am very satisfied.

Very good picture, challenging set-up, & endless difficulty making my Airpod Max headset pair with the TV. Good value. After months, I have yet to make my headset work as expected. I can pair with "TV sound + Bluetooth Device" but not Bluetooth device only. LG help no help.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV about a month ago. BUT there are some problems. The TV sound is not consistent when there is a commercial, sound comes on loud which I think is the commercials themselves but after that when it goes back to the regular program it's even louder, The color for each program is not consistent, it will change with each channel. We have two other LG 55 inch and neither one of them have these problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took me 2 hours on the phone to set the tv up. This could be because I use CenturyLink as my internet carrier. And when the tech on the phone tells you to reboot everything...do it. For now, the tv works great. All the apps are there and working, the sound is very adequate and the picture is great. This is my second LG tv. Both had rough starts but they are both working very well now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very happy with the 86-inch UQ8000. The picture is sharp whether I'm watching sports, news, live tv or movies, and the sound is excellent. The only criticism I have is the magic remote. I still haven't figured out how it works because keys seem to change their functions very now and then, and there isn't much info on the manual how to properly set it up.

The TV picture is great, but the jiggly remote control arrow is ridiculous for older folks. Also the remote control has issues, some features work ok, and others u must use your direct tv remote. Accessing LG Channels is a chore at times, and at times some channels on LG don't work right and u have to turn the TV power off and kind of have a reset.

I bought this TV after returning a hisense TV that kept buzzing and humming. This TV looks and sounds much better. I'm really impressed. Only reasons I didn't give it 5 stars were for only having 2 HDMI inputs that aren't even 2.1 (120hz) and no Google OS. webOS isn't bad but I sort of enjoyed the Google OS a little more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm loving the TV. I don't have cable and use an antenna but get plenty of channels plus loads of free channels. Great picture and sound. Negatives are the wheel in the remote. It's touchy and hard to use also I wish there were instructions and a list of channels for quick reference.
