We updated all our tvs to the least expensive LGs from 42-75”. We're still getting used to the new remotes and are having updating issues with youtubetv saying update available but tv saying we don't have the app which came with the tv. Other than that it has all the features we need so spending more for extras would be a waste. Remote rollerball very difficult to use with fingernails because it's recessed. Obviously designed by a man.

My experience after 3 months

TV picture quality is good. WebOS is horrible and very buggy. Adding Apps is very difficult and the selection is limited. Navigating through the Home page is kludgy. The whole system is archaic when compared to other systems like Chromecast with Google TV. The remote is unnecessarily complex when compared to competitor TV's.

We got this for our bedroom for Christmas. Our kids replaced an old Sharp TV we had with this LG smart TV. So far we are very pleased with it. The pictures is great. The only criticism I have is that it won't pair with my husbands blue tooth headphones.

Bought it two weeks ago and impressed at the picture quality vs the cost. The remote is intuitive and works well. The ONLY negative is that the LG OS does not support my MLB app, hence I can't watch my beloved Minnesota Twins on the TV! LG you need fix that!

Really great TV for the price!

I bought this TV for our main great room that is 25x16 and wanted something huge with a great picture. I am about 99% satisfied. The picture is amazing and has great contract. Only complaint is sometimes with all the lights out you can see the array that backlights the screen if there is a super bright scene. The SmartTV features are actually way better than my expectations. It has every popular streaming service built in and also I can use it with my PC or Mac computer. I also love streaming YouTube videos to the TV directly from my phone. The sound is also pretty darn good without a soundbar or subwoofer.

It has been nice, and we appreciate the smart features with Netflix and other apps, as well as the ability to switch between gaming and movie settings quickly. It's been great for Gaming, low latency and great picture. I can watch myself die in Elden Ring in 4k now. We use a sound bar but the audio from the TV is pretty good by itself.

Not very happy

Our only complaint is that every time we turn on the tv a pop up comes up asking if we want to download more stuff. We NEVER do because then the screen fills up with things to buy like Hulu and tubi, etc. We are lucky to be able to afford the basics and don't want to be asked every freaking day this same question. If we want to watch a movie which is rare for us, then we will handle that ourselves. We don't think this download question should be asked and don't think our screen should be full of countless things to purchase unless we ask for the service. There should be a way to opt out of that annoying and very frustrating question every day even multiple times a day if the tv is turned on more than once a day. When our downstairs tv needs replacing soon we will not consider LG

To remove this feature, the TV has to be set in HOME mode instead of STORE mode. To do this go into the SETUP menu then scroll down to LOCATION. using the left or right arrow keys change STORE to HOME and the pop ups should no longer appear on the screen. You can also do this, if applicable: Go to HOME > Settings > All Settings > General > Additional Settings > Home Settings > Turn off auto launch and Turn off Promotion. The tv was great if you just want a big tv with 120hz for gaming. Picture quality is amazing while there are colorful images displayed. However there is a phrase you will want to learn when the screen is white or gray "dirty screen effect" as it was extremely bad.
