I elected not to get a traditional cable box for this unit as it was clearly not needed. The dashboard showing the status of all my LG devices (appliances, air filter, etc..) was quite surprising.

Inch LG since the old tv lasted so long with no problems also had a great picture before H.D. never had a sound problem moved tv room to room house you house also was able to just plug everything back in and watch tv made choice on what brand I wanted when it came time to replace it I'd told my everyone what a good product LG makes will replace all my house appliances with LG when it comes time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV in October 2022 as a replacement of a similar sized 15 year old TV, and am very pleased with the picture quality and sound. I have not used all its capabilities yet to comment on them. My only issues are this unit does not have a swivel stand which makes access to the back difficult in my box opening, and does not have connections for my older VCR and DVD player/recorders.

We bought our LG86 for our home theater and are very happy with the purchase. Very slim profile for such a large screen was easy to hang on the wall and provided excellent access to connection points. We used the optical port to connect the audio to our home theater amplifier, but it has excellent sound on it's own. We also added an LED light kit to add ambient light around the screen. Now we know that LG has TVs available with higher screen resolution but this set has a great Ultra HD picture, is loaded with features, and most importantly, fit our budget. Lots of cool menu options and features are available on this TV to help us customize this TV to meet our needs.This is a 2022 model, not some old school set.

First and foremost, the picture quality of this LG TV is excellent. The 4K UHD resolution delivers sharp, crystal-clear images with vibrant colors, and the slim bezels provide an exhanced viewing area that minimizes distractions. Also, the sleek and modern design of the LG UQ8000 is very eye appealing. What sets the LG UQ8000 apart from other televisions is its smart functionality. The built-in webOS platform offers a user-friendly interface that makes navigating through apps and content very easy. With access to popular streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube, one can effortlessly stream shows and movies without needing any additional devices. The smart features also include voice control, allowing a search for content or TV control with simple voice commands using the included remote. Another very good feature of this TV is its audio quality. The UQ8000 is equipped with very good speakers that deliver clear and immersive sound. The audio technology optimizes the sound output based on the content, providing an enhanced audio experience. In terms of connectivity, the LG UQ8000 offers a wide range of options. It has two HDMI ports, a USB port, and Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing me to connect various devices and accessories easily. Lastly, the set-up process was straightforward, and the remote control is intuitive and easy to use.

it has a good picture most of the time it has some definite issues and usability problems. 1. Even though it has most streaming apps it doesn't have the ones I use and it is irritating. 2. It is extremely difficult to cast from a mobile device. 3. Continual pop up ups about stands and so on do not go away when acknowledged. 4. Occasionally tv turns on by itself. Other than those issues it has a good picture.

Picture is very good but the reflection level from the screen was unexpected. I find the sound with volume changes annoying and the unintuitive controls perplexing! For example, the TV displays a broad bar of options when turned on, none of which is just the TV I want. I am searching now on the internet to see how to get past the unwanted time delay for getting a program.

I bought this 65” LG tv in March of 2023 because of price and reviews. We have been very happy with the quality of the picture and options. Not a big fan of the center mouse ball on the remote but you really don't have to use it navigate thru the tv options. So far so good with this tv.

Updated to the latest version, the tv is for the most part very good. Useful for iOS screen mirroring and as a wireless second display for my laptop. It doesn't work all the time but when it does it works very well with little input lag. Other problem is when you connect using hdmi, input lag is very high unless you configure it to game mode. Other than that great picture, great value. Love the Magic pointer feature, very easy to use the on screen keyboard and much faster than using a d pad.
