I bought this lifetime shed 7 years ago. The skylight on roof top began leaking half year ago when raining. I called lifetime recently, and was told they would ship me a new skylight for free of charge. The customer service gentleman is really very nice and friendly. Overall very satisfied, like the look, reasonably easy to put together, plenty of light with the skylights. But: * Floor is very soft (too soft), * Gaps remain where the wall panels join into the floor solts, (the plywood floor we added helps block a little bit). * No options for Anchoring the building provided when we called.

This is a good looking shed but no picnic to assemble. Most of the instructions were just OK with some of the drawings being very difficult to interpret. The biggest problem I had was attaching the top row of skylights at the peak of the roof. You can not assemble the entire row of skylights, set them on the roof and expect them to line up as the instructions tell you to do because they will not. You need to put on one section at a time starting from the middle and work your way out installing one section at a time. It is still very difficult to get them to line up but they will if you force them. Another issue is that the overlapping sections of the floor that are supposed to be attached with the screws do not overlap enough and many of the screws are simply holding nothing. Lastly, get ready for a work out as you install 256 self tapping screws to install the roof truss reinforcements. There are no holes in the steel and you simply have to tap each one with a screw. I will say that all in all, it's a pretty good shed for the money.

Beautiful shed. High quality and heavy duty materials. Very difficult to get corners in place, and skylight peak is very fragile and nearly impossible to install in one piece. The roof was also very difficult to assemble. You 100% need multiple people to install. We were told it would take 2 adults 3 days to assemble and this is correct! We thought that was a ridiculous timeframe but on day 3 of blood, sweat and tears (not an exaggeration) it finally all came together. It's definitely worth the price and efforts.

I have been assembling this by myself. I am doing the walls today and will have a neighbor help. So far, not bad. The only difficulty was sliding the metal door frames onto the door -- need lots of hammering with a mallet, but I got it done. It's rugged -- I had to leave its pieces exposed to the elements and it held up very well. I love the size and the niceties like windows and skylights. Only bad thing was one of the metal pieces did not get primed properly and the paint started peeling off. They responded to my concern immediately and are sending me a replacement part. There are LOTS of parts; make sure you keep items in their labeled bags so you know what goes where. The lifetime warranty is a big plus. They have videos and a help line but I have not needed these. Instructions very clear.

We needed more space. We consider wood prefab, and it’s still kind of a toss up! by time you build wood foundation or pour concrete. prefab wood comes with that and makes is easier to relocate if you want to take the shed with you. We had concrete poured and i dont know if i’d build one this big again! I’d say it takes good 13-18 hours to build. I’d suggest download app Bilt and type in the model number, also watch few install videos on youtube. We messed up the floor lay down and put up back walls till we realize why the door holes weren’t lining up. Also short doors poles for side door, long poles for the end doors! We messed up the doors, and not feasible to disassemble the other doors just for one pole, Customer service was very nice and easy to work with like other comments. My John Deer 42” with bagger fits in the end door and has plenty of room. As I mentioned very time consuming, and need to understand how it’s assembled first. allow 12-18 hours, most of work can be done by one person, but some items due require 2 people. Seems like a great product, and won’t require any maintenance. Check out the BILT app. I still feel as though worth the money saved vs other options.

I purchased the lifetime shed prior to that I reviewed several you-tube videos and thought about going with Tuff shed but realized the price of one was way beyond my budget. Being said with the great customer service and support we’ve been extremely satisfied beyond belief. 🇺🇸

Although a little tricky and time consuming to build, you defiantly get a great sense of achievement having done so. A strong sturdy structure with plenty of storage space, be shelving or tool mounting hooks, you won't struggle to find a hook to hang a shovel. Take time to build it and you will marvel in it.

The shed is excellent but initially had trouble assembling. We tried the instruction book, YouTube but it was not until a representative told us about the downloadable assembly app. This is when everything finally came together. The pictures in the app and instructions were easier to understand and follow for a novice. Wish that we had this first would’ve saved a lot of time and bad mistakes.

Great quality product, however the assembly is not what they say. They tell you 2 guys 8 hours. My buddy and i work in the trades so not just a couple schmucks and it took us 14 hrs to assemble. The instructions in a few areas could've been better. The way it tells you to assemble the ridge skylight simply did not work the way they wanted you to do it. The other part that could use improvements is the sliding dead bolt style door latches. After using then maybe 10 times they lossened up to the point they won't keepbthe top of the doors katched. But over all a pretty decent shed kit. This is all however after i had to wait for a second shed kit. The first kit that arrived was completely trashed with all the boxes broke open and loose parts laying all over the delivery truck so i refused the delivery.
