Comes up to temp fast. Sturdy structure. Grease tray keeps it cleaner than other pellet grills. Ashes tray easy to pull out and dump. I wish the ash tray would pull out from the front. No open flame grilling on this pellet grill. Overall I really like my new Z Grill

Well- the lid part was totally my fault. Lost my balance and caught myself on that lid while it was burning.... Ordered the insulating blanket (which arrived today) for avoiding another burn and to have use of it during the cold NE Ohio winters. Highly recommend that blanket! Cooked on it twice so far, very easy to figure out and use. Assembly was fairly easy. The hardest part was getting the boxes up on my deck- that thing is HEAVY!! Build quality seems good. Only hurdle I had was that the wifi wire somehow broke in shipment. The wire cannot be spliced together. BUT!!!! Z Grills is handling it very well and very quickly!! Exceeding my expectations

I bought the 11002B for its size to cook for my whole crew! It did not disappoint! It holds temps right on. It is big. It moves around easily.. The Wi-Fi is great. I can check and control temps with ease. All around built tough. A+ for this unit and I would recommend!

So far, this smoker is amazing! I assembled it and burned it in on a Saturday, then started an overnight brisket late Sunday through Monday, adding chicken and sausage late in the smoke. Temp was reached quickly and well maintained and results were excellent! Will be doing the Thanksgiving turkey on this one...

After doing lots (and lots and lots) of research about pellet grills and their options I came upon this grill. After seeing that it was $1200 at both Lowes and Z Grills I moved on as I wasn't looking to spend that much. Given that I had purchased my gas grill from Sams I thought I would see what they had to offer and couldn't believe my eyes when this grill was only $499. After triple checking it was indeed the same grill I immediately purchased it. Shipping took two weeks which allowed me plenty of time to gain about 10 pounds just from watching BBQ videos in anticipation of its arrival. When it arrived it was secured strapped to a pallet and the shipping company put it in my garage so I could get to work right away on assembling it. Assembly was very easy and I didn't have any problem at all interpreting the directions. I was able to stand it upright by myself barely but if you haven't had your Wheaties then get someone to assist. Build quality and features are excellent with the exception of the app. To say it's half baked would be too kind but I would anticipate it will get better with time once Z Grills gets serious about fixing it. Now for the best part---it works brilliantly! The first time around I did wings, pork belly burnt ends, salmon and ribs. All of them came out amazing and were quickly devoured by friends and family. Since then I've done steaks which come out nice and juicy with just a hint of a smoky, buttery taste. Next up was more wings and jerk chicken which were equally awesome. Bottom line is if you have the means, and if Sams has the stock, don't hesitate as if it make someone like me who struggles to make a PB&J sandwich look like I know what I'm doing then you'll do even better!

I've only gotten to do two cooks since purchasing the smoker / grill, but I'm very impressed! Holds exact temps consistently, something my Austin XL Pit Boss has NEVER done. Very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend. Just hoping I haven't jinxed myself and everything comes crashing down. 😳😳 Lol. Just joking…I don't think that will happen at all!

Not gonn a lie, the packaging was on point co sideri g our delivery services and how brutal they can be. Assembly was a breeze, just wish the print was bigger for us old blind people. Got the burn i. Done a couple of days ago and now im cooking some ribs and baked beans. App is working quite nice and the temperature is mai ting set point. All in all a great grill so far. Never do a perfect review off the rip, have to see if there are any bugs after a few uses.

I haven't done a "real cook" on it yet, but I already have some red flags. First of all, when I unpacked it and assembled it, there were several screw holes that seemed to be off. Not just in alignment with the hole, but the screws themselves wouldn't go in properly. I made sure they were the correct ones and they were lined up straight, but it even happened with one of the cart wheels. I will say, however, that once it was assembled, it looks great. Also, other than the hardware problems, it was easier to assemble than my old Pit Boss was. The only thing I have done so far is to grill some hot dogs. I love the app and the fact that it not only tells me the meat temp if using the probe, but the internal temp, as well. However, it took a lot longer than I would have expected to get up to temp (I set it at 400° and it was almost 20 minutes before hitting temp - in the summer in the south). But then the big flag was that it did not keep the temp +/-4° as advertised. It would fluctuate up to +10° several times in the very short time I was cooking compared to smoking a brisket or butt. That is the whole reason I got rid of my last grill. If I wanted to babysit the heat, I would get a stick fire grill/smoker. The last thing is there was not much smoke at all. I understand pellet smokers don't put out a whole lot, but I felt almost like I was using propane. Fortunately, I'm not overly concerned with that as I usually use a smoker tube anyway, but it definitely wasn't the billowing smoke in the ads. I have a couple of big smokes coming up. If it performs better than I have seen so far, I will happily update this review. But it isn't looking good so far...

There is a lot to like about this grill. It is built better than Traeger or anything else I've seen for under $2000. But if it doesn't work then its hard not to be disappointed. The bluetooth will not pair, so no remote control. The app has very poor reviews, but I can't get to that point until I can connect. Support has been pretty good, sent me a new controller, but still no bluetooth. Instructions aren't the best so maybe I'm missing something. I doubt it since support hasn't figured it out either. Wifi control is mandatory for me so I'll work with support a bit more then return it if they can't get it working. Something else, if you come from a stick smoker be prepared to be unhappy with the amount of smoke flavor. I was worried about this, but everyone I talked to raved about pellet smokers. There was zero smoke taste or smell on my ribs and brisket. I used Bear Mountain pellets which are highly recommended. I bought another brand of pellets and will let it go longer next time before the wrap and see what that does. As of now, its nothing more than a $500 outdoor oven.

I purchased grill and put it together and it was a solid pellet smoker. Unfortunately my control panel was messed up and I tried for 2 weeks by phone and emails to Zgrill with no response. Luckily Sams club refunded my money and picked it back up
