So far, this smoker is amazing! I assembled it and burned it in on a Saturday, then started an overnight brisket late Sunday through Monday, adding chicken and sausage late in the smoke. Temp was reached quickly and well maintained and results were excellent! Will be doing the Thanksgiving turkey on this one...

After doing lots (and lots and lots) of research about pellet grills and their options I came upon this grill. After seeing that it was $1200 at both Lowes and Z Grills I moved on as I wasn't looking to spend that much. Given that I had purchased my gas grill from Sams I thought I would see what they had to offer and couldn't believe my eyes when this grill was only $499. After triple checking it was indeed the same grill I immediately purchased it. Shipping took two weeks which allowed me plenty of time to gain about 10 pounds just from watching BBQ videos in anticipation of its arrival. When it arrived it was secured strapped to a pallet and the shipping company put it in my garage so I could get to work right away on assembling it. Assembly was very easy and I didn't have any problem at all interpreting the directions. I was able to stand it upright by myself barely but if you haven't had your Wheaties then get someone to assist. Build quality and features are excellent with the exception of the app. To say it's half baked would be too kind but I would anticipate it will get better with time once Z Grills gets serious about fixing it. Now for the best part---it works brilliantly! The first time around I did wings, pork belly burnt ends, salmon and ribs. All of them came out amazing and were quickly devoured by friends and family. Since then I've done steaks which come out nice and juicy with just a hint of a smoky, buttery taste. Next up was more wings and jerk chicken which were equally awesome. Bottom line is if you have the means, and if Sams has the stock, don't hesitate as if it make someone like me who struggles to make a PB&J sandwich look like I know what I'm doing then you'll do even better!

Masterpiece! Assemble was good following the instructions. Cooking was so good with even heat. Did beef, chicken pork, fish, vegetables and they were all a hit for tenderness and that slow cook flavor. Very pleased with its output and do recommend. This is a game changer for cooking and the size is great.

Received my Z Grill in perfect condition in undamaged packaging. It's very large and requires two persons at certain points in assembly (standing it upright after assembling the legs). I performed the initial "seasoning" procedure and the grill heated to 530F. Two days later I smoked a Boston Butt pork roast (from Sam's) for pulled pork sandwiches, which turned out amazing!!! Last weekend I smoked pork butt and spare ribs, again with great results. So in roughly 20 hours of use so far the grill has performed flawlessly, holding temperature and producing good smoke flavor. Looking forward to grilling other foods soon!

I bought this about a month ago. I wasn't planning on getting a pellet grill this large but couldn't pass up the price and i have the room so why not! This is my first pellet grill so i have a bit of learning curve, but its still just grilling. It came well packaged and pretty simple to assembly. During assembly is really easy to tell how well built this unit is. Three cooks in and everything to this point is running very well and tasting awesome. Time will tell how this unit holds up, but for now highly recommend it.

Great grill! Absolutely no problems at all. Holds temp within 5 degrees. Cooking range from 160 to 500. Wi-Fi app not great, but no big deal. So much cooking space.cooked chicken,brats,meat loaf,pizza. Long cooks are coming. Couldn’t ask for a better grill. Very happy

Have only used it a couple times, grills and smokes well and is easy to use. Have not tried truly searing yet so can’t comment on that. The ZGrills App can definitely use some improvement.

After two weeks and only three cooks I have been pleased with my purchase of The Z Grills 11002B. 6 months from now I should be be able to give a more accurate review based on more exposure. A this point I must say I was very pleased with Sam's Club's timely email communications as well as that of the delivery service AIT, calling to confirm delivery on the day it was scheduled. The package was delivered in pristine condition and offloaded into my garage. Assembly was reasonably straight forward with some semantics maybe a little confusing for USA customers, but a close look at the drawings which were accurate and large, quickly resolved any confusion. My install time wasn't 1 hr. but at 80 with arthritis and bad knees I thought an afternoon was reasonable. Wife helped hand me stuff as I lay on the floor and it took both of us to tip the 200 lb grill onto it's side. Initial burn in instructions were clearly written and completed without error. I don't have a smart phone so didn't set up the remote app yet. Still too busy watching and trying different settings, verifying displayed temps, color of the meat, etc., but will set up wi-fi to my laptop later. First 6 hour try at spare ribs went well but not perfect. Temp stayed so constant I watched a movie and forgot a temp change in the ribs instructions. Then over compensated trying to correct things! Results were smokey flavor but could have been a little more tender. My fault, not the grill. Hopefully in 6 months I'll have enough experience to properly evaluate the Z Grills 11002B.

There is a lot to like about this grill. It is built better than Traeger or anything else I've seen for under $2000. But if it doesn't work then its hard not to be disappointed. The bluetooth will not pair, so no remote control. The app has very poor reviews, but I can't get to that point until I can connect. Support has been pretty good, sent me a new controller, but still no bluetooth. Instructions aren't the best so maybe I'm missing something. I doubt it since support hasn't figured it out either. Wifi control is mandatory for me so I'll work with support a bit more then return it if they can't get it working. Something else, if you come from a stick smoker be prepared to be unhappy with the amount of smoke flavor. I was worried about this, but everyone I talked to raved about pellet smokers. There was zero smoke taste or smell on my ribs and brisket. I used Bear Mountain pellets which are highly recommended. I bought another brand of pellets and will let it go longer next time before the wrap and see what that does. As of now, its nothing more than a $500 outdoor oven.

I purchased grill and put it together and it was a solid pellet smoker. Unfortunately my control panel was messed up and I tried for 2 weeks by phone and emails to Zgrill with no response. Luckily Sams club refunded my money and picked it back up
