I had high hopes right out of the gate, but after using it the for the first time, it exceeded my expectations. Very easy to use, holds temperature amazingly, the smoke output/flavor was excellent. You also can’t beat their program of an upgrade every 5 years! I would highly recommend Zgrills to anyone looking for a pellet smoker!

Getting things away from the Heat when setting the smoke is very nice. Also the Side Shelf is something I was really looking for when I needed to replaced my Traeger.

We made the mistake of buying a different brand grill on our 2nd pellet grill, but now we are happily back to a Z grill. Looks like our next 20 years we will have one!!

I like it a lot. It is a lot of fun and makes the grill experience really easy. I will say if you pair it with the INKBIRD wireless theometers it is a dream to use.

Good construction and relatively simple to put together. Good price. I was able to get it to heat to 476 degrees f. On the flaws side, I have not been able to connect to WIFI even after trying all the tutorials. Also, the cover that came with it was is difficult to fit.

I have owned a Z Grill for several years but decided to buy the new 1000 D4E as my primary and have the other as a secondary. Wow! What a difference! While my older one is still a great smoker the new upgrades on the 1000 are really nice! Looking forward to many more of great smoked meals!

Loving this unit so far. I'm new to smokers so I'm having fun trying different stuff. No issues with the controls on the unit and the app is working well for me so far. Packaging was good and assembly straight forward. Instructions could have been a bit clearer, but thats a universal truth anymore. I do recommend (as do the Instructions) to have at least one helper for assembly as the top unit is a little heavy and awkward to get mounted solo. The rest is no big deal. Took an hour or so in front of the TV.

The assembly process is more than some others, but the instructions are detailed and they make sense. The operation of the grill is, as anticipated, slightly different, but again, logical. The burn-in process went well, and the first cook went well. Love the multiple temperature ports and the ability to remove ash easily. Would like to reach a higher temp, as needed, but it’s not a huge drawback.

This is the first pellet smoker I've ever owned... so far I've grilled on it 3 times, and did a 6 hour smoke on it. Overall it's a great product. However, there are a few things that I've found so far. The app temps dont match after its hit its target. The temp will match as it's climbing, but as soon as it'll reach target it will have about a 30 degree difference. Setting up the smoker was a little annoying. The first piece was at the top of box 2, and the second piece was at the bottom of box 1. Other than that the smoker itself is phenomenal!

The design and quality is top notch compared to others I’ve had. The price with the accessories is a great value. I could not believe the way it was packed and shipped. Not one thing broken or scratched which is amazing traveling across country. The directions for assembly was the best I have seen. It goes together fast and easy. Z grills don’t change a thing so far. Can’t wait until 5 years from now to see what you come up with!!
