Internal damage to grill from factory

Excellent smoker Excellent grill and even an Excellent oven can’t beat the price.

Everything I expected and more!

This would have 5 stars except for 2 reasons. One Sam's uses Estes Freight to ship. They're AWFUL. They don't follow directions, shipping the grill standing on end even though box is CLEARLY marked to NOT do this. But, they did and my grill arrived with sheet metal damage though it did not affect operation. Sadly though as well the control panel did not function (though I could still operate the grill with the app). Sam's was nice enough to send me another one, and AGAIN Estes Freight did not follow directions even after multiple phone calls. They also delivered on the wrong day, leaving it on my front porch in the rain! Thankfully the new one was not damaged and everything worked. Everything on this grill is quite generic. Nearly any control panel will work if you could not get one from Z Grill. Another reason I LOVE this thing. Because if I needed to I can put in any controller WIFI or not. On to the good stuff. This thing is built like a tank. VERY heavy and solid with thick walled steel, heavy powder coat finishes, very sturdy front shelf, extremely well designed oven chamber giving dead even cooking, no stack to deal with and no goofy hanging grease bucket. Absolutely LOVE the design. It cooks like a million bucks. Makes you into a magician. everything you put in it comes out deeeelish. Z Grill you need to up your customer service game A LOT!!!!!! Sam's you need to get better shipping!!!! Other than that, there is no better grill out there especially for the $$$$

Awesome machine. Assembly needs 2 people and it went smoothly. App could be improved for sure but its not a dealbreaker.

Was easy assembly by my self less than 30mins cooks very good temp within 5deg thru whole pork butt cook. Would purchase again

After having a traditional smoker and using them for 20 years I bought the zgrills 700D 5 years ago and loved it!!! And it still works great to this day no issues!!! So I bought this 11002B about a month and a half ago and it is amazing just like my first one!!! I have no issues whatsoever with this!!! It was easy to assemble and I was able to put it to work right away!!! Hurry up and get yours cuz you won't be sorry!!!

Pros - built like a tank - lots of cooking area - seems to hold temp well once stabilized (can take an hour to occur). It tends to way overshoot so set initial temp lower. - great price - easy to assemble - cooks well Cons -instructions are poor at best - customer service horrible - the Wi-Fi app is barely useful - produces smoke but get a smoke tube for much better results - emptying pellets is a pain (remove the grate to make this process somewhat easier) Net net it is a great deal for $500 there are compromises. Just be prepared to deal with some issues.

For the price, you really can’t beat it. It’s not a Treager, but is also $1000 cheaper for a like model. The app needs some work, but is useful. I ordered two and both arrived with damaged pellet hoppers. One isn’t too bad so I decided to keep it. The manufacturer is out of hoppers for now so I might have to live with it.

So here are my observations first hand with the 11002B Wi-Fi Multitasker. First off, the most negative thing is the Z Grills app. It took me a while to pair the grill on my phone and it took a while to locate the router. Once I finally paired it, the temperature on the app was totally different than the reading on the grill. The only time it was accurate was when I literally was outside a few feet from the grill. Hopefully Z Grills will get this straight at some point because it makes no sense to have an app and you have to be next to the grill in order for it to work accurately. It would also be nice if they had the smoke and warming functions in the app as well. Other than that, the grill was easy to assemble and is built like a tank!! It’s quite huge and well insulated. The temperature holds pretty accurately and I smoked some pork tenderloins that came out delicious. I would certainly recommend this grill. The only reason I didn’t rate this higher was because of the app issues but the grill itself is great!!
