This air conditioner works very well and cools the room quickly. It's pretty quiet overall even when running full blast. I don't need to use the remote, but that works fine with the unit. I have very tall sliding windows, so I needed to order a separate window kit for it to vent outside properly. That wasn't too expensive and this works like it's supposed to on my 58” windows. There's not too much setup required for the air conditioner or the window part. I'm able to easily put it up and take it down as needed.

Nice machine

Used this air conditioner for 2 nights, turned it off and had a “PF” warning and told us to call customer service. Called customer service and they told us the machine was broken and would need to send us a new one. It's in the 90-100 degrees this week and could take up to 2 weeks to get our replacement. Very disappointed and unhappy that it broke after 2 uses.

I bought a Delonghi air conditioner from Sam's and after a year of use it started to give off a bad odor. It's a funky odor I can't describe, but is getting worse. I called Delonghi and only got excuses, but no solution. They have no idea what could be causing the odor. I also own a Hysense portable air conditioner which was purchased the same time as the Delonghi. I am not having any problems with any odors from the Hysense air conditioner. I clean both air conditioners the same way after use. The Hysense is fine, the Delonghi stinks. The Delonghi works well, but I can't stand the odor it makes. I guess I will have to junk it which will be a VERY EXPENSIVE lesson. I won't be purchasing any Delonghi products.
