Unit does cool space as expected but is much noisier than expected. Even on the whisper mode it is noisy. And the real feel mode is disturbing as it is loud when it shifts.

The unit works well to keep my bedroom cool and comfortable. The room size is about 12x20. The unit cools right away. Having a remote control is convenient. The unit could be a bit quieter, but it's tolerable.

Arrived fast and as advertised. Easy to set up. Pretty quiet operation. Using it to cool my upstairs computer room. Works great! Vents out my front window. Very inconspicuous.

This A/C is great at cooling down our ~350sqft bedroom. It is loud...ALL portables are. But it's not disturbing at night when the compressor kicks on unless your sleep is easily disrupted.

Ive had this portable air conditioner for over 2 yrs. It cools down the back of my home while sitting in my son's room. The air is very cold an keeps you comfortable. No issues with any dust build up or malfunctioning while in the cold months. Just turn it on an its ready to Go. Easy- No complaints.

Unit worked great for my daughter in a small apt last year (June - Sept); Stored it in a heated basement and then this May tried it out and it is dead. $400 (price w tax) should last more then a 4 month season. Sam's defers to manufacture. Trying them, but for now putting a caution on this.

Purchase this unit end of May. It seemed to work well. After about 6 weeks the compressor stopped working, it just circulated warm air. We have 2 other units by Delongi that have been working for several year, so wasn't hesitant to buy another of their products. Must have been a fluke. Sam's customer service was wonderful, took it back with no hesitation.

Our A/C went out. So ordered this while waiting for new unit. Until I got it home I didn't know you had to install the exhaust hose in a standard horizontal window. We have aluminum slider vertical windows. Had to return it. Temps are over 90 degrees!

Really wanted this to work rather than having to place a unit in the window. I've slept with window units for a long time, but this one takes up a lot of space inside and it kept waking me up when it starts and stops the compressor. Twice the weight of a window unit and not very quiet in my opinion even in the shush mode. Plus you have to drain the water condensation from the unit (which is not easy to do since the plug is so low to the ground). Returned it and bought an Midea 6K window unit which was half price with twice the features plus energy star.

I have had my units for 3 years. They are great!!!! No problems. I have replaced my central unit with these and found I use about 15% less energy overall. Replacement and repair will be so much less than my central unit and I'm extremely comfortable.
