Well, the first time I started the engine it was sluggish during idle (after warming up), and would bog down when using the wand. I contacted Simpson and they recommended I see a Kohler dealer, but the closest dealer is about 100 miles away from me and I cannot put the machine in my car either. It could be an elevation issue.

Purchased the Simpson Powershot PS61115 3500 because of the higher psi and the lower cost, along with the additional surface cleaner. It has a durable AAA axal pump which is nice. As soon as I opened the box and assemble the machine, I started it with one pull and proceeded to pressure wash all the areas that have needed it around the house, the gutters, rocks around the pond waterfall and flagstone steps. I was very happy with the pressure and the 2.5 GPM is perfect for quicker jobs. The surface cleaner was great and made cleaning the patio a quick job too. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase. The only draw back was the shipping times, it took over 2 weeks to deliver.

Great unit with plenty of power. At a great price. If you are on the fence about the Kohler Engine. Don't be. It is an industrial engine that starts with 1 pull. You wont regret purchasing. Did my entire driveway in 1 hour. The included concrete cleaner works well.

The handle could be a bit longer if you are pulling up stairs. I plan on getting the 16 inch extension to use on the surface cleaner attachment. The first time starting took a lot of pulls and it backfired. After getting it running one pull starts it.

I haven't used this product enough to do a real review but with the limited time using the machine, I am well satisfied! It is powerful enough for everything I tried it on. I had trouble with the sweeper but found out why when I did a trouble shoot according to the included instructions. Looking forward to the many projects I have planned with this power washer!

So Far, having used the pressure washer once to test it out & wash all the vehicles, it did well. However, it was not what I expected it to be as I thought it would be as heavy duty & large as the one they used to have in the store & I was never able to afford. This one came in the mail after about a month. It was fairly easy to put together & the instructions were good enough, I hope. It started right up & performed well (both the pump & engine). I wish the hose was a little more durable, flexible, & longer like the old Honda model they had a few years ago, for less. To wash the three large vehicles it used about 3/4 tank of fuel. It siphoned soap out of the bucket well enough. Maybe it will end up being just as durable & effective as the older larger model. So Far, So Good, but only time will tell. The price was right for this it seemed, even though it cost more than the old one.

Very easy to use. Most powerful Pressure washer I have ever used. Have about 20 hours on it so far. Disc makes concrete patio and sidewalk cleaning incredibly fast. Through trial and error found out that old oil base paint is difficult to remove because it's stays flexible for decades. Does not over vibrate or move around like other reports have said. Tires are great, but could use a better idea or addition to the rig when carrying up/down high concrete steps. Overall a solid piece of machinery. Incredible price. Highly recommend. Don't try and save a few bucks buying under 3500 psi on something that won't last a season or two like I have done in the past. This is a real time saver. Trouble free and removes grime, mold stains, paint quicker.

Having owned numerious pressure cleaners up to 2750psi, the Simpson 3500psi is night and day worth the investment. A little more demanding on the grip, extra power sems to cut work time in half. The included deck drum is awesome. Thanks!!! Sam's Club 100% Happy

I have used my power washer and surface cleaner 1 time to clean my concrete driveway, the Kohler engine starts easy and the power washer and surface cleaner did an outstanding job.
