I bought this printer last month to replace my old one that was awful to use. It was never online and very problematic every time you needed to print something. This printer works every time with no drama, and the ink seems to really last a while. I have been doing a pile of printing with it for my business and the levels have barely moved - a vast improvement over my old printer and I really like that there are no more ink cartages to toss in the landfill. this is certainly better for the environment. I am very happy with this purchase and highly recommend this model.

So far so good, easy setup, working great wirelessly. ADF works well with only one paper jam. Some copies have vertical line present, that wasn’t on the original but this has not happened consistently. Overall I’m pleased. Touch screen is rather small, causing occasional wrong function activation. After waiting to buy another printer, as none seem ideal, I would recommend this one.

Installed and uninstalled 7 times trying to get WIFI printing to work. Got it to connect a few times but will not reconnect and has to be reinstalled and set up again for every print job - NIGHTMARE. Reverted to USB printer cable which seems to work.

Replace an old Epson printer with 4850. It's the best just as the last one was. I like the new ink bottles. But if you are on Windows 11, you need to upgrade to one of these new printers. It was east connection, but you need to take the time to apply all updates. It's the best and a great price.

I bought this printer to replace a 10-yr old Epson Work Force printer. Many of the nozzles on the old one were clogged, and no matter what I tried I could not clear them. I am happy I bought the Epson Et4850. It is not as fast and doesn't have as many bells and whistles but for me speed is not important, and I never used most of the options on the old Work Force. I figure if this printer only lasts three years, the saving of the cost of the ink cartridges will pay for the printer.

Works well now! A day after we first received it, and set it up, a little white spool piece in the document feeder fell out. There was no mention on it in the instructions, Epson website, or online. It took me and my and my son in law about 2 hours to figure out where the piece popped back in at. I almost returned the printer. I tried to call tech support but they were closed during their business hours. Once that was fixed we were good. I have had no issues since and the printer works great.

Prints beautifully. Paper handling is excellent although I wish it had a duplexing feeder for the scanner. Driver installation is mediocre - the printed instructions tell you one thing and the driver software installer tells you something else. The driver installation stalled and would not complete because we’d already set up wifi per the printed instructions, and the driver software installer was confused by this. The scanner software is mediocre as well. By trying multiple options for the Wi-Fi setup, we were finally able to get the driver to install, and with some effort, we got the scan software working as well. A printer at this price point should have better software. But we love the Eco-tank concept and expect it to be very cost effective.

Very nice. Smaller footprint than my old Artisan 835 and the expensive cartridges. Good overall quality, easy setup, easy to fill without spillage. One bottle is one full tank. Print quality on personal high resolution test sheet shows very good color and black density scaling. Excellent color accuracy. The scanner feeds and images very well. The scanner software is much improved from the old Artisan.

Very disappointed in this printer. It was easy to set up but there is no way to keep the paper pushed up to the end of the tray. This causes the printer to say that there is no paper in the machine, however, it will pull a sheet of paper and jam so that the back needs to be removed to function. I have to jam something between the back of the paper tray and the end of the paper to be able to print anything.

Currently printing copies and after 26 minutes only have 72/90 done. I wish I had known how slow it printed before I purchased. One review said it was great for church office use which is what I am using it for. I'm not impressed. Looking for a more commercial grade printer now.
