I bought this printer specifically to print labels for my small home business. Much to my dismay, I'm now finding out that this printer is NOT compatible with Avery labels! I hope that a fix will soon be available for this printer. I have spent a lot of $$$ thinking that I should be able to do this. Other than compatibility, it seems like a very nice printer.

This is my second eco tank printer. Had the first one over 5 years. Started having an issue with the scanner pulling more than one sheet of paper. The glass scanner and printer still worked great. My daughter needed a new printer, so I gave her mind since she doesn't scan much. Purchased the 4850 about a month ago and have had no issues.

Conniption free! This big for work at home, This produce the charge on printer instead of ink. For this product, you got saving on inks. From each individual ink cartridges you got into now a battle of that color. Imagery quality is good, Very Crystal and details, printing speed is outstanding. Double side documents pages speed are okay, smaller to others brand. Touch LCD responding good, The ADF(Automative document feeder) is a bit fiddly and doesn't always catch the paper to feed it in, making faxing a bit of a hassle. Once I got the ADF adjusted just right, and I carefully fanned and fed in the sheets of paper, it was able to fax the entire stack. Power cleaning about 7mins To adjustment to proceed 10mins 250 pages sheet capacity paper tray at button with adjustment free. Ink bottle that come with boxes has 7500 pages in B&W, 6000 pages with colors. Big Plus on Top paper tray have 30 pages of the document scanning storages. Software * Firmware for Chromebook is supported! * MacOS 12 Monterey supported! (Tested on MBP 2018 with MacOS 12 developer beta 6) Voice-activated, hands-free printing and faxes!!! Alexa tested within the same wifi network. (Tested on Samsung S21) Google Assistant tested with Google Home hub within the same wifi network. 15.5 ppm? never! i went from an HP office jet desktop printer that died after 12 years to this piece of junk. it’s terribly slow. more like 3 ppm. it stops to think constantly.hangs up in the middle of 5 page print jobs. have only had it three months and am going to replace it. i regret the day i saw this printer in the store

I purchased this ET-4850 because of the features and the ink tank, but the printer itself is one of the worst printers I have owned. Every print is poor quality with lines through the font despite multiple alignments and head cleanings, and the ADF has never worked for a scan or copy, it jams the first page halfway through feeding, regardless of number of sheets. Highly disappointed

I purchased this ET-4850 (January 2024) for my home office to replace my older Work Force printer, which finally died after many years of service. This new ET printer was very easy to set up (I used the iPhone app, and it was a clear step-by-step process), the WiFi connection is solid, and the print quality is excellent. The scan to computer feature also works very well. I am confused by the posted negative reviews, as my experience with this computer is thus far all positive.

Do not buy any Epson! Serial number x8er025979, Model ET-4850: The Wi-Fi is defective again. This is my fourth replacement printer, and it is now out of warranty! You are selling a faulty product. All the errors are related to the Wi-Fi. I am so happy to have the easy to use printer. Out of the box set up was simple and the app guided you step by step through the process of setting the printer up. This also included pictures and instructions on how to fill the ink tanks, which was surprisingly easy to do. After everything was all set up I was able to print a few photos from my phone with no problems at all. There are many amazing things about this printer. First...no more cartridges ever, just super affordable ink bottles to refill the tanks. Second, the paper tray holds 250 sheets of paper. Third automatica. Double sided printing. Fourth nice touch screen that is very easy to use. Overall this is a great printer! Reviewed this printer a few days ago and gave a bad review for the quality of printing pictures. I regret that review. I found that my issue had to do with the paper/settings I was using. With glossy paper for inkjet printers the quality was great. Although the printer still said I had a paper/settings mismatch, my pictures were very good.

We have a ET-4760 (which I believe is an older model.) It's for our home. It has never let us down. It prints FOREVER on a single fill. It does excellent copy and scan. We have had this copier for several years and I've bought more ink ONCE. The fill process is very simple and there's no mess. The only downside is that the function screen is very small.
