Hi there, Helen! We appreciate you letting us know about your LG washer experience. This LG washer does have a soak option within a cycle, which would be for heavy-duty. You can find this information on the LG washer manual: "When washing large loads, there will be brief periods of 2 minutes or more without agitation. These soak periods are part of the cycle’s design." Just click here for more info: https://www.lg.com/us/support/product/lg-WT8400CW.AEWETUS. Hey Marl. We're glad to hear that your washer is working great for you! There's nothing like efficiency to get those chores done properly. We noticed that you mentioned having difficulty seeing the control panel, so we would like to recommend that you check out our ThinQ App. With this app, you can connect your washer to it and start the load right from your smartphone. You can also find some custom wash cycles that would work best for you and download them to use.
