I've been running this your now for over a year. I have somewhere around 25,000 miles on them and I'm not even half way done with the tread. I am HARD on tires. I run rescue and I'm an aggressive driver at times. These things hold to the road in all conditions! I once responded to a call in ice. I came to a place where about 40 vehicles where stranded on both sides of the road. I drove right up the middle with no issues at all. Oh yeah, the call I was responding to... A 4x4 truck that ran off the road into a tree.  Today I had to get to work in another ice storm. After taking fifteen minutes to clean the ice off my car I made the trek to work with roads covered in close to a 1/4"" of ice on the road. I had no problem at all making it to work or back home in the slush this afternoon. Not only are they great tires for traction, the company stands by their tires.  After about 11,000 miles my rear tire developed a sidewalks bubble.  After cheering with the company, the dealership replaced the tire for free.  I will never put another set of tires on my car.

Had these installed December of 2019, it's October 27, 2021  they're still like brand new. Have put approximately 51,000 miles on them. I rotate them at every oil change as well as adjusting the air pressure weekly to ensure that I get the best results from them. They handle great on wet roads and even feel confident on snowy roads.

We replaced the OE Yokohama tires on our Mazda CX-5 with these before they were fully worn. The Generals are far more comfortable (softer sidewall and reduced tread noise), and offer significantly more grip in wet conditions. I wouldn't put these on a sports car, but for someone who wants long treadwear, safety, and value, these are hard to beat. The difference in ride quality is night and day. If you have a crossover and don't like how they all seem to ride harsh, try these tires. It made a huge improvement to ride quality without spoiling the handling of the vehicle.  In the past we've used General Altimax Arctic tires exclusively for our winter tires, but this is our first all season tires from them. Tire Rack did measured tests of them and it's truly impressive how they perform for the price. I'm very glad I bought these.

We live in Southern California and bought new tires in preparation for a Thanksgiving trip through Utah and into Oregon.  Sure enough we hit snow at one of the higher passes and we made it through safely - with more than 50 cars on our side of the road that had slid off the road.  We were very grateful.

Bought a set of 4 for my 2010 Toyota Venza and absolutely love them, in the rain and in the heat of summer. They are attractive looking, smooth riding and relatively quiet and for being on a tight budget (no raise since 2014) the cost did not break the bank

Let's start with the bad... wait, I gave them 5 stars, is there something bad!? Well I did say ""perfect all around tire."" This is my 5th set of these tires on multiple vehicles and my only complaint is that I may have gotten a max of 40-50k miles out of any of the sets that I had. False advertising you may say! Well, maybe but, I lean more towards my mountain driving being the culprit which eats them down a little faster. With that said the price and quality keep me coming back. Having tried some of the most expensive tires in this category, I have found only one tire that has this quality and a slightly better tread life but it costs twice as much. The RT43 has served well in mountain snow, slush, rain and dry driving. It is quiet and decently smooth. I worked many years in a tire shop and highly respect General, this tire continues to promote General's name.

Bought tire for our 05 Civic couple years back we were pleased with performance. Mother in law 09 Lacrosse needed tires , checked Tire Racks reviews and found the same tire was ranked as very good for her car. My wife who drives both cars says there is great control and road feel especially on highway. These have been our first experience with General Tire brand.

Absolutely perfect tires if smoothness and quiet are important to you.  Size 225 50R 18.  Astonishing upgrade from Goodyear Eagles they replaced.  Completely smooth and quiet and improved what was already an excellent ride which I didn't think was possible.

these are the best tires I ever purchased. Great in snow, rain and dry pavement. Very quiet, smooth rideing. I hope I can put enough miles on them before they age and crack on exterior. Only wish they were not as long on mileage, as I don't drive much, under the yearly normal.  Keep up the great work

Good quality and value. Much, much quieter than the GY Triple Tread Assurance they replaced (which was the goal). Performance good not great but that is the tradeoff for reduced road noise better durability on a full-sized car (Charger) driven mostly highway conditions. Stopping characteristics similar to GY.
