I have put 4 sets of these tires on my family's cars and have been very happy with all of them, I work in a repair shop and sell these all the time and my customers are pleased with them, I call them your best bang for your dollar for tires, a great value.

Tires ride well very quiet. Installed in the fall and drove them all winter. 150 miles per day commute even in the worst storms these were confident traction. Didn't replace my snow tires after seeing how the went. Glad I purchased these RT43s. I typically replace the factory tires with Kumho and have run them in the past. These Generals are better in the wet and snow conditions than any Kumhos which is why I was putting on snow tires. Just rotated after 25k and rebalance. No wear showing at all and ride is great on highway for over 2 hours a day. Will buy them again. Just watch your speed ratings. I found the 205/55R15s came in an uncommon T speed rating but after breaking them in it doesn't seem to matter much when driving normal speeds and low speed cornering.

I purchased these back in the fall for our Dodge Grand Caravan. This is the second set that I bought, the first set was for a Saturn Vue AWD. I'm very happy with these tires. They have good all season traction. I live in northern Michigan and that's important up here. I also like how quiet they are. And so far the tread wear seems to be very good. I have no complaints about this tire.

I have this tire on my '11 Elantra and an '07 Odyssey.  Great ride, good traction in rain and snow. They're too new on the car to speak to treadlife. They're wearing a bit fast on the van, but even aligned correctly, the van has always gone through tires fast, so no worse than normal, and they are wearing evenly. Fuel efficiency is decent.

Wear and Tear is excellent.  I am a 78 yr. old female and my car drives and rides  better, smoother, feel safer, driving my car with General Tires.  I would definitely  Buy and Recommended these tires to all and I  have to others.  Good product for your money.

I have purchased two sets of these tires for two different older Toyota Highlanders and have been very pleased.  They handle well, the ride is stable and quiet and although I have yet to use them in Minnesota snow, I'm expecting good performance there too.

This is the third set of Altimax tires (on 3 different cars mind you) and all of them have been excellent so far.  I don't stress the tires too much and only 1 set has more than 20K miles on to date, the traction has been good, mileage as good as the other econ oriented tires before these, and noise levels have been excellent.  For the price, I just don't see how to beat them - thank you General!

I've had these tires for about 1000 miles now. So far I have driven in dry and wet weather. The traction is very good in rain and the handling is good on dry pavement. The ride is softer than my previous tires, which I like. I bought these tires mainly for the good reviews in snowy conditions so hopefully I will see the improvement this winter.

The General Tire AltiMAX RT43 have been a marked improvement over the OEM tires (Hankook) that I received for my 2016 Hyundai Azera.  Overall, the ride qualify improved (less road noise, smoother ride over most surfaces), improved traction on wet roadways, and the handling I'd say is a step or two above the Hakooks.  One area that I haven't had a chance to test yet is traction in snowy/ice.  I live in North Carolina and the winters here are mild at best (with a few days or randmom weeks of 'true winter') so I can't attest to the snow/ice capability for these tires.  This is my second time owning a set of General Tire and I have to say that I am quite pleased with the brand as a whole and would not hesitate to recommend General Tire to anyone looking for a good all around tire for their vehicle.

245/55/18 on 18x8 OEM rims. Location is South Louisiana. Purchased solely on looks. With only 5k miles they are quit and handle highway speeds great in dry weather. A little stiffer ride than expected and not so great when hitting water puddles at speed. Im just more cautious when driving in the rain. Except for occasional slippage when taking off in wet weather, All in all, just a hair under par with the other major brands out there.
