This is the third set of Altimax tires (on 3 different cars mind you) and all of them have been excellent so far.  I don't stress the tires too much and only 1 set has more than 20K miles on to date, the traction has been good, mileage as good as the other econ oriented tires before these, and noise levels have been excellent.  For the price, I just don't see how to beat them - thank you General!

Have put this tire on three different cars now, and not been disappointed.  It is the best ""all season"" tire I have ever used in the snow.  Obviously it's not a snow tire but when in the first 50% of it's life it's amazingly good in the snow.  Wet traction is very good too.  Also the tire is not noisy - I have a very low threshold for tolerating noisy tires (i.e. I hate road noise) - this tire is quiet. Overall I think it's very hard to beat this tire as an all around tire. A great value and I highly recommend.

Great tires. Use the snows by general also. Have gotten 60k plus out of the tires. Good even wear but i do rotate every 8k. Have used them in snow about 8/9 inch storm did good. Good corner grip and average noise from the tires, good fuel mileage numbers from them. I am happy enough to by another set in the spring when the snow tires come off.

I have went through two sets on my Crown Victoria without any issues. I got 70K on the first set with some tread left but purchased a new set that have went 65K and still have decent tread left.  My car is full size and needs to be able to go anywhere, these tires have no problems in any weather, roads, or two tracks. Never been stuck or slid off the road. They ride quiet, smooth, and I am getting 22+ MPG. I plan on using these tires on all my vehicles if possible. Just bought a Toyota Sienna and hope I can get a new set of these tires installed soon. I've been recommending these tires to all my family & friends and they have been great tires for them also. My local tire guy who I carried my set into has been recommending these tires to everyone as well after seeing how long they lasted and performed on my car. He is now stocking them and strongly encouraging customers to purchase these tires.

Bought a set for my sister in law. Great smooth riding tire. She does know about tires so much, so she put 60-70psi in them because she didn't know what a tire gage was. Long story short: the cap ply or (nylon cord that runs with the tread of the tire) finally busted and she couldn't figure out why the car was bouncing so much. Anyhoo. The tires still held air and were good enough to use until new ones were ordered. Bought a new set and got every miles worth out of them. General has come a long way in last 20 year and are getting better all the time.

This is my 3rd set of General Altimax RT 43 tires on 2 vehicles. This is second set on my 2015 Toyota Sienna AWD, 1st set replaced run flat tires, also put them on my 2012 Subaru Legacy AWD. Both vehicles performed well in snow, rain or dry roads with these tires. They handle and ride good.

Smooth, quiet ride with excellent handling. This is my second consecutive set of Altimax tires on my 2009 Camry SE.  They wear great and always provide a sure grip on any surface, even in the ice and snows of northeast Ohio winters.  These are by far the best quality tires I've had on any vehicle.  I would definitely buy these again next time I'm due for tires.

These tires are wonderful.  They were nearly perfectly balanced with only one wheel of 4 requiring a quarter ounce to get balanced.  They are soft and compliant with tremendous grip in wet and dry conditions. Comfortable quiet ride.  They wear very well too.  I have been impressed by general tires in the past and these RT43's do not disappoint.  Thanks General.  Did I mention that they were inexpensive to start and a bargain with the included rebate.

Decided to try the general tires.  I have low profile tires on my sport coupe.   These tires will now be my tire.  They have a really good ride.  And, that can be difficult to find on a sport coupe.  But, these tires are exactly what I needed. Will buy again! Thank you General!

In general, No pun intendetrack event :-) General tires are good quality tires at a reasonable price. I used the RT 43 tires on my 2006 honda civic, my 1995 geo prizm and got them for my friend's 2005 hundie SUV. they are good in the snow, Rain and yes even a few Driver ed events at local tracks. I also used A03's , a more performance tire), and  while stiffer side walls then the Rt43, they seemed similar in every aspect.
