I drive a lot and I had BF Goodrich TA Advantage tires and they were loud and I couldn't get them to balance out so I bought the Altimax tires in March 2020, on my brothers recommendation.  As of January 2021, I've accumulated 52,000 miles and I bet I get through the summer with them as they are wearing fantastic!  I liked them so much I put a set on my sons 2002 Honda Accord EX and he says the snow and ice traction are excellent in Chicago winters!   I highly recommend this tire!

I purchased these tires for my 2013 Mazda CX-9 to replace the original equipment tires.  I have about 2000 miles on them now and I am completely satisfied with the tires performance.  They are great in the snow, rain, and on dry pavement.  Low tire noise and feel well planted in spirited driving.  I believe that this tire is one of the best buys on the market right now.

I bought these tires about a year ago.  I've put over 25,000 miles on them.  They are quiet, have good grip on corners, and handle water well.  I had good luck with the General Grabbers ATs on my truck and like the General brand.  These tires did not disappoint.  I've only driven in snow a few times as I usually drive my truck on snowy weather days.  The tires are not bad on snow and I had no problems with them in snowy driving conditions.  I would advise a friend to buy these tires and will probably replace them with the same tires when the time comes.

Brought 4 Generals last year and they ride great, unfortunately my wife went through and puddle with a large pot hole and blew out the driver's side front tire, I'm so impressed with Generals tires that are on the car I had to purchase the same tire. When you have a quality tire and handles the road like they do, stay with a quality tire like General, you won't be disappointed.

Feels like cement tires at highway speed, like tires are made of concrete, thumpy, clunky, wobbly, loud and all over the road, horrible in rainy weather, hate to see what they're like in the snow, sorry to have made the purchase, salesman raved about them, come to find out I overpaid for cheap tires.

I bought these for my 2014 Subaru Cross Trek after doing a lot of due diligence. (The car is not quiet as a result of road noise, poor insulation, wind noise and tire noise.) I wanted quieter tires than the stock tires, maximized life, and the best grip I could get. The tires are quieter than the stock tires and I have appreciably less noise in the cabin. I just went through the winter with them and we had enough snow for me to get a good feel for their sure-footedness. I will look for these tires again (or for whatever supersedes them) when I need replacements.

Only average 5-6,000 miles per year. Tires were purchased in 2015 so they are beyond the 72 month time period as specified in warranty.   Altimax RT43's only had 36,000 miles on them and wouldn't pass state of PA annual inspection. Tires rotated but not often enough. Still would expect to get much closer to the warranted tread wear life of 65,000 miles.   Will not purchase this brand again.

Felt more than comfortable with these new Altimax RT43 tires. I purchased them in November and soon after went on a long MN road trip through rain/snow & icy conditions. Not once did I feel unsure about my purchase & would highly recommend this tire.

I have put 12,000 miles on these tires so far. They replaced Firestone ft140s on my 2016 civic. So far I am very pleased. They seem just as quiet comfortable, but have far superior traction in rain and wet roads.My gas mileage has remained pretty much the same.The Firestone's  seemed a touch more responsive in quick avoidance maneuvers though.

I own an '05 Mustang with very low miles.  Old tires were aging out and not performing.  The General tires were recommended by my mechanic and CR and have not disappointed.  They handling and ride are exponentially better.  Wish I'd replaced them sooner!
