So incredibly disappointed and haven't the faintest idea how the good reviews can be legitimate. This washer is horrific – the clothes do not rub against each other it slowly “rocks” them so they are not coming out clean. For most of the wash, they simply soak in detergent, but not getting cleaned at all. The plate on the bottom, barely moves. The spin cycle works very well but I would imagine that most of us want washers that actually clean the clothes

I purchased this washer with the coordinating dryer about 2 months ago. The previous LG set I had lasted 12 years and did a great job for most of that time. So I went back for more. For one thing, I do not like to have to download washer cycle settings. It's a hassle to have to go online, download an app and all that instead of just turning a dial. I miss the other cycles I could easily use in a snap. Also, this washer is quite noisy- it makes a chugging sound and I am already experiencing trouble with some heavier items making the washer bang on the sides as if it's uneven though I have never overloaded it. This is one reason why I got rid of the old one. It's only 2 months old and I already have to alert the store in case it needs repair. I think it does a great job of cleaning clothing and the drum is quite large so you can fit a good amount of clothing in. The plastic silver strip on the lid is already scratched somehow so I wish that were stainless steel like my former machine. The softener cup seems to be washed out with the detergent- before you could click on having or not having softener go in. I really loved the LG brand but not liking the changes they made. I wish I had maybe gone with a different model but can't really give up what I have.

I bought This about 2 months ago, and it works great. I have nothing to complain about. The Turbo wash is excellent. The only real flaw that I do have is it takes so long to do one load, but it's large incapacity. It holds a lot of laundry. We can get a lot done in one wash, and it really is A great machine to own keep up.The good work l g

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this new washer about a month ago as my old washer was always stopping due to being uneven, and it was making horrible noises! The good news is that this washer, while louder than my old washer when it was working properly, is not too loud, and it hasn't tried to walk away! This is my first washer with a glass lid. So, as I am prone to complaining, here are my complaints. I keep a plastic storage lid with felt feet on the glass so I can set light weight objects on the top of the washing machine while doing aquarium chores. Since I can see the laundry being washed, sometimes there are items sticking above the water level that are not being washed. I open the lid and shove them down. When I do a standard wash, it starts with ~55 minutes to go which is how long my old machine would wash. Then, about 5 minutes later, there are only 15 minutes left! So, it washes quickly. The rinse portion of the cycle always has the water still being full of soap so I don't think the clothes are adequately rinsed. Aside from those things, the clothes seem okay. I have guinea pigs, and their bedding looks filthy after washing both with this washer and the last. I put the cycle on Heavy Duty for those. I set up the app, and it used to tell me when a load was done (not something I really need) but then it stopped doing that after a few weeks. I miss being able to create my own program like I did for the old washer for my guinea pigs. Good things - so far no overflows of water out of the laundry tub, the machine uses very little water (good except when items not covered), and it really mixes those items up well. The old washer may have but I couldn't watch them one without the glass lid.

Purchased from Sam's Club. The delivery took longer than stated, but install team was excellent! This machine gives accurate wash times, then senses the load and rarely changes. I like that I get a notification on my phone when completed or needs attention, keeps the process of washing prompt. My clothes are very clean, are properly damp, and smell great. The variety of wash load options is very thorough. This unit reminds you to do a maintenance drum wash at intervals. Only complaint? I'm short, so getting to the bottom to remove clothes to dryer requires tippy toes and reaching! Lol...

The washer was delivered six weeks ago and delivery and setup was quick and professional. The cycles we have used have operated exactly as described in the instruction manual. The Heavy Duty cycle was very impressive with washing large blankets. Good job LG!

I can now say I love my washing machine. I didnt think I would like the wireless connection feature but wow do I! I no longer forget my wash for hours at a time. It has multiple settings for the type of wash you are doing and you can download additional wash types as well. It balances the load and has different spin levels which my previous washer did not do well. It holds a ton of laundry. I even named her... Elgee!

Me and my decided to upgrade our set a couple weeks ago and are so happy we chose this LG washer and dryer. Clothes come out so clean and the washer runs do quite even during spin cycle. The LG thin q app really makes things easy as well. This set in graphite steel is beautiful! The drum is so huge as well. Definitely highly recommend purchasing this set

It has the perfect amount of setting without being overwhelming with choices. It is very easy to use and intuitive. It has a large capacity to wash my king comforters. It is super quiet so i can and have napped while doing laundry. I absolutely love this washer and its paired dryer! Life's good! Thank you LG.
