worse washer ever..

What a piece of junk, no rinse cycle on normal wash cycle... only 2 approx. 15 second spray rinses. If you use the deep wash so you can have a rinse cycle the washer fills up to approx 6 inches from the top of the drum.. wasteful - can't wait until this stupid washer breaks so i can buy something that is not wasteful and has smarter washing cycles.

Awful

Replaced after 1 year due to water filling issues. Here I am again, one year later and my water pressure sensor doesn't work and machine filled with water and over flowed causing a huge leak. Machine didn't even alert or auto stop when water was overflowing! 2 years, 2 machines and nothing but problems.

Nice features but not perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this new washer about a month ago as my old washer was always stopping due to being uneven, and it was making horrible noises! The good news is that this washer, while louder than my old washer when it was working properly, is not too loud, and it hasn't tried to walk away! This is my first washer with a glass lid. So, as I am prone to complaining, here are my complaints. I keep a plastic storage lid with felt feet on the glass so I can set light weight objects on the top of the washing machine while doing aquarium chores. Since I can see the laundry being washed, sometimes there are items sticking above the water level that are not being washed. I open the lid and shove them down. When I do a standard wash, it starts with ~55 minutes to go which is how long my old machine would wash. Then, about 5 minutes later, there are only 15 minutes left! So, it washes quickly. The rinse portion of the cycle always has the water still being full of soap so I don't think the clothes are adequately rinsed. Aside from those things, the clothes seem okay. I have guinea pigs, and their bedding looks filthy after washing both with this washer and the last. I put the cycle on Heavy Duty for those. I set up the app, and it used to tell me when a load was done (not something I really need) but then it stopped doing that after a few weeks. I miss being able to create my own program like I did for the old washer for my guinea pigs. Good things - so far no overflows of water out of the laundry tub, the machine uses very little water (good except when items not covered), and it really mixes those items up well. The old washer may have but I couldn't watch them one without the glass lid.

Great washer great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had our new washer for just about a month now and we are very happy with our purchase. The machine is very quiet, very efficient, and cleans both large and small loads effectively. Our clothes, towels, and sheets come out so much cleaner than our old wahser. The time it takes for our ne LG Washer to run a cycle is also much faster. We couldn't be happier.

Great Washer

The washer was delivered six weeks ago and delivery and setup was quick and professional. The cycles we have used have operated exactly as described in the instruction manual. The Heavy Duty cycle was very impressive with washing large blankets. Good job LG!

Love my smart washer

Bought 3 weeks ago. Switched from front load stackable. I love this washer so much more, no clothes falling onto the floor! This is soo energy efficient. I am always amazed at how quickly the load is finished AND that I can get a message on my phone/watch to go switch the load to the dryer. Our laundry is clean and we love the stainless steel tub. Also like the clear top so we can watch the load if we want. Highly recommend.

Extra Large Washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the turbo washing and watching the machine in action through the clear lid. I chose a top loader versus a front loader since I often forget an item and can easily interrupt the cycle to add them without starting all over again. Clothes come out very clean. FYI- This machine has a huge tub and is quite deep and could hold very large loads. If you are a petite person, you may have difficulty reaching the bottom of the tub to retrieve small items, like socks.

Great Machine

Purchased from Sam's Club. The delivery took longer than stated, but install team was excellent! This machine gives accurate wash times, then senses the load and rarely changes. I like that I get a notification on my phone when completed or needs attention, keeps the process of washing prompt. My clothes are very clean, are properly damp, and smell great. The variety of wash load options is very thorough. This unit reminds you to do a maintenance drum wash at intervals. Only complaint? I'm short, so getting to the bottom to remove clothes to dryer requires tippy toes and reaching! Lol...

Large capacity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've only had the washer for a couple of weeks, but it seems to be running fine. With the impeller model, the capacity is huge and we're going to try washing large items such as comforters, etc. It was easy to level and the vibration and sound is very manageable. There are probably more options on the control panel than we'll ever use, but it's nice to know they're there. Even using the shorter spin cycle wrings the clothes out very well.

Poor cleaning performance

The washer cleaning performance is very poor. The bleach dispenser damages clothing when it releases the bleach it does not dilute it before dumping into the tub. The water level, agitation and spin functions are not capable of cleaning clothes. Deep wash helps but does not have enough control and eliminates many other functions. The strange pauses in agitation and spin cycles combined with very weak action does not clean the clothes. The large tub is nice, but it is useless without the right amount of water or a working agitator.

Hey Dan! Thank you for leaving us a review of your LG washer experience. Optimizing your laundry experience can lead to fresh clothes and a fresher mood, so we'd love to help! To start with your bleach dispensing, we recommend following the guide in your owner's manual starting on page 19. This will provide tips, tricks, dos, and don'ts of using bleach in your cycles. The unit's water level is set automatically by detecting the weight of the laundry within the tub to maximize wash performance. If you want to increase the water in the unit, we recommend trying the Water Plus feature on your control panel. 1. Power on the unit and select your wash cycle 2. Select the Water Plus 3. Press the Start/Pause button to begin your cycle If you still need help, please reach out to us on social media @LGUSSupport with your model number. Our team is always happy to help! *Joseph
