Okay so here's the deal - most washers are okay, they do the job - mostly - but require so much user interaction that by the time you actually get the clothes washing, you're not too sure what takes more time - washing the clothes or getting the washer turned to the right settings, pressing all the right buttons and making sure that it will actually notify you when the cycle is done. This is NOT the case with this washer. First of all, it is sleek in its design - hey that's important! Secondly, turn the dial, select the water temp and press the start button. That's it, no degree in washing machine science needed! Thirdly, and most importantly, you don't have to do some form of weird yoga to actually remove the soap tray to clean it. Washer gunk build up is not an urban legend! It exists and not being able to clean the soap tray dispenser is gross. The soap tray is easy to remove, easy to clean and most importantly doesn't require a forty-step tutorial on how to reinsert it properly. Fourthly, IT IS QUIET! There is little that is more annoying than having your washer run and thinking that at any moment the machine is actually going to come to life because it is so noisy and walks its way across the laundry room as it does it job. Fifthly, it is sturdy. I am a caregiver to an elderly parent, as a result, often there are large loads of laundry that have to be done - this washer can handle it without ever indicating there is a problem. I never question if the washing machine is going to suddenly run up the white flag when a large load - large but not overloading the washer - is added to it. That level of peace of mind is not only needed it is APPRECIATED! Lastly, the cleaning cycle, when used properly - ACTUALLY WORKS! Huh, imagine that, a washer that actually keeps itself clean when it is used properly. Thank you LG for finally figuring out that consumers really don't want to have a degree in laundry room science and engineering to actually be able to effectively use necessary appliances.

It's awful it's the biggest piece of crap I ever bought I wish I could return it. It uses to much water the runtime is an hour and a half and it clogs every week and reads error code. I can't do big loads of laundry without it getting unbalanced. I don't think it's energy efficient at all. I absolutely hate it

Not too long after purchase, the washing machine made some weird sounds. I recorded them and sent an explanation and video to service dept. They replied and sent me info on a front loader machine, not top loader. I gave a description and this model number and still received the wrong info. I don't think this machine will last very long. Very discouraged!

The washer doesn't work properly. It hets stuck in modes, it runs for more than half time and timer jumps back to orignal settings. One person has to monitor wash through out the time. Bad bad bad buy

Absolutely would not buy again. I had no idea that to have full capability of all cycles I would need to download and go on WIFI. I am 72 years old and do not always want to use technology, especially on a washer.

LG promised a Monday delivery and it still got pushed back to Wednesday. I hope my new one last for several years because I don't want to have to deal with that nightmare again.

Clothes come out clean and soft. What a great purchase we made. Would highly recommend this washer. We plan on purchasing the dryer next

We are beyond happy with our purchase. This washer should be your next choice!

We purchased the LG washer and dryer a month ago and found that it actually cleans our clothes better than our previous front load washer and dryer. We were a little skeptical at first since everyone we knew were set on front load machines but I read up on the LG top load pair and decided to try it and found it to be a wise choice.
