I am so pleased that I chose this washer. I am for the first time in many years caught up with my wash!! The top loading feature is easier for me to use, and the wash never takes more than 45 minutes to be done. Plus, I think the laundry is cleaner than my old front loader.

We bought this washer 2 weeks ago and find it an excellent improvement. The stainless steel drum keeps clean and won't rust. The drive mechanism is far superior to standard US models that use fan belts and clutches. Our old US model lasted just 3 years. The machine has a wide range of control options that suit every possible need. The online capabilities are a nice benefit, although not really required. The machine plays a pleasing tune when it completes and it displays the cycle time left to make for better planning. The lid is clear so you can see the activity within, which is preferred over an opaque lid. We had no issues with the delivery, install and operation of the machine. I would definitely buy this again and recommend it to others.

I replaced a 15 year old Kenmore front loading washer that had come to the end of its life cycle. (No pun intended.). I chose LG, because of the highest quality ratings given by Consumer Reports. I got the top loader, because of the serious mold and mildew problem that I had with the front loader. No more constantly cleaning the gasket and bad odors. The LG is very quite and the technology is very impressive. It also takes a lot less time to run a load and it is very energy efficient too. I highly recommend LG.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We looked and read about what washers we had to replace the LG we had that just went on the blink. the 7400 looked to be very good and one review had it as 1. Features seemed good although wifi not needed. Unfortunately it gave us problems immediately, both in terms of being way of balance and electronics messing up. So we returned it and got another LG model, rated top by CR. Odd though, less features than the 7400 but cost a bit more. HDepot took some off though. It was a pain to have to go thru the pickup and delivery again. But so far so very good on new model. We think the other model was either damaged in shipment though nothing visible, or just made after a holiday weekend.

My previous washer had an agitator and I hated it! When it was time to get a new washed i knew I wanted one without one but wasnt sure the brand to get. I was actually going to get another brand but this was all they had and im so glad I got this one instead! Its been perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The good: cycles are pretty quick, it's easy enough to customize cycles, and the clothes come out fine. It's efficient. The less good: randomly leaked one time. Makes a terrible metallic clinking noise when changing steps in a cycle that is very disconcerting. Haven't had a chance to test it yet with something really dirty to know how well it does. Should be better for the price. I suspect it won't last for 10+ years like my old one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently purchased, quite an upgrade of my machine I purchased in 2010. I was surprised by the capacity, in fact I can barely reach the bottom to remove washed clothes and I'm not a petite woman. I like that I'm notified when a load is complete. The dispensers for detergent and fabric softener work very well. My towels haven't been this soft since I purchased them. Overall I would rate this machine a 10 and highly recommend.

At 5.5 cu ft...this holds a lot of laundry. With Normal wash, some of the detergent gets stuck on the cloths that are on top. I have to use Deep Wash so that water covers all of the laundry. We are using the Extra High Spin .... however the clothes seems to be damp...comparing it to our front load LG Washer. The LG Front Load WM3470HVA does a great job of removing the dampness on the laundry. The top load washer does not shake the house compared to the front load washer. If your height is less than 5 ft 6 in......you will have a hard time getting out all of those clothes in the washer. This washer is deep...you might need a stepping stool to be able to retrieve all of the laundry if your height is less than 5 ft 6 inches. Since this washer does not have an agitator....it is best to put the dirtiest clothes at the bottom of the washer.

This was purchased November 2022. In December 2022 it began leaking water and stopped working. The manufacturer never has an available date to come fix it. Therefore, I am stuck going to the washerteria (which I have not used in over 35 years). LG stated I would have to pay for repairs. This is the worst product I have ever purchased. Buyer Beware!!!!!!

I was always battling mold and mildew, and the washing never drained properly, causing our laundry room to smell foul. The washing machine never spun out correctly, and forget about washing bedding- which was a major issue for me since I run an Airbnb. After two years of this I started researching washer and dryers, and it was abundantly clear I would be going with LG. I was drawn to this washer because of the large capacity and top loader, and I am so grateful I went with it! I was blown away when it was delivered, because compared to my previous set, it takes up less space but has substantially more capacity- plus it is way more stylish. The LG washing machine has every setting my family needs, and some we haven't explored yet. It enables us to keep our family's laundry running long, which is super important since we have three teens and a dog, and we do a lot of laundry, and our business in order. I can't imagine going with any other choice. Thank you LG for an amazing product!
