I bought two of these, and they were delivered quickly to my home. Assembly was a bit tedious, but it was able to do both units in about 3 hours total. There was a manufacturing defect with the hinges which caused both units not to lock in place when in the bench position. I sent an email to customer service and received a prompt reply from Luke asking for pictures. I sent photos, and he responded the same day and placed an order for replacement hinges. I've already gotten an email for the parts order. I honestly did not expect to get such fine service on this issue. In spite of the problem, I highly recommend this product. It's heavy duty and looks great, and the conversion from bench to picnic table is quick and easy.

We've enjoyed the bench for a couple of years in our community. Two slats in the bench were accidently damaged. Customer service responded within minutes to my call and quickly sent two replacement slats free of charge. Since then I always consider buying Lifetime products as my first choice.

My present to myself this year was the convertible bench. It looks fantastic in my backyard. Assembly was easy [thanks to my son-in-law] and easy-to-follow instructions. We both commented on the blister packs of screws, nuts, etc. They were clearly marked so there was no confusion as to what went where. All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase and look forward to using this both as a bench and table/bench. Most importantly, it is a very comfortable seat.

Great design, but the seat boards will and do crack and break in less than one year. I replaced mine twice (great customer service, by the way) in two years before I simply replaced the seat boards with redwood which I cut and drilled to fit. Were Lifetime to use real wood or a stronger composite material, this would be a 5 star review. I have a set of folding chairs and table which appear to be the same material, and those get used considerably more than the bench, but have never broken.

I have had this product for just over a year and aside from staining very badly the slats are all breaking and warping. Great idea... poor fabrication...although i will say the frame is built like a tank but a frame by itself is just a waste of space.

I wanted a table outside for my staff to eat at during the pandemic. My husband and I put it together in a little less than 2 hours. It was a little bit challenging for us, but credit to the manufacturer that all the parts were labeled and securely packaged. Directions were clear, step by step, and we did not have a misstep. Tips: have a rubber mallet and use the head to support the weight of the table against the leg while putting in the long screws, and a flashlight can help you align the holes underneath the table. The bottom line is that this bench/table is gorgeous, sleek and solid. The staff loves the table and so do so many passers by.

My company bought these about a year ago. They look nice and are well made. My only complaint is the slats are a bit on the cheaper side. We have had to replace some slats. Customer service was great and gave us replacements parts without charging us, and without question.

The convertible is very solid and easy to use, but the boards stain VERY easily. Although I know it is outdoor furniture, still it would be nice for it to have a better coating of protection. I will agree with others that the customer service is excellent and some new boards were sent to us, but we have over 12 units...so that's a lot of boards.

Bought 2 picnic tables last year and am pleased with sturdiness and ease of use. So when looking for benches, bought 2 convertible benches. Long rod has too much movement so I added a 22mm spacer on both ends, see photo. Bench appears very study and very easy to convert from bench to table. Very good design.

We purchased two of these a little over a year ago, we have added two more to the collection. They are the best for family gatherings. Put two together for a picnic table and then you move them around a camp fife for a wonderful evening of smores with family. They are the best! I love multi-functional furniture!
