Not only is the bench amazing, but when a tree fell on it and broke a few slats, the customer service department was incredibly helpful and sent replacement parts right away even though it was an older bench. They honored their guarantee and then some!

we bought two to make a pick nick table together. first one i followed directions exactly, took a while, second one was a snap. their good solid benches and lifetime products are wear great. they look awesome and will work perfect for what we wanted. thanks lifetime

It's completely understandable that, from time to time, a minor defect will slip through. I am so pleased with my new Lifetime Convertible Bench(s) that I couldn't overlook a crack/plastic shard. Within minutes, Lifetime's Customer Service had a replacement seat slat on order, and sent confirmation.

Have had these on our screened in porch for years and use them as benches until we have Sunday “low country boil’ for family, then use as a table. I put lemon oil on the simulated wood, hoping to preserve them. We bought a set for our daughter’s family and they keep them out on their patio.

I have had the convertible bench on my patio for about a year and half now. I love it. It's sturdy and beautiful. I generally tilt the top into a table for potted plants and use the bench for sitting to put on shoes. I don't recall it being difficult to put together as another poster suggested. I am a mid 50's woman and pretty handy I guess. I did it myself. You know when you buy it you need to assemble it. That's why it's priced so well. I'm considering getting another because I think they are such nice product. I have the bistro set as well. I wish they would make other matching products like maybe a larger table and chairs set or just a plain garden bench.

We enjoy using this product on our small back patio area. It can easily be converted to a very useable table or changed to two benches instead, Our son was so impressed we ordered another one for him. It holds up well in our Florida weather, but could also be used on an inside porch!

This is an excellent product that fit our needs perfectly. We have an information kiosk at a historic site and wanted to add a picnic table. We also use the kiosk/shelter for our powerpoint presentations to tour groups. The convertible bench was made for us. we have a picnic table or seating for our presentations.

We bought 2 of these convertible benches for our cabin in the spring of 2015. We LOVE them. We use them as benches around the camp fire at night which allows more people to fit around the fire. Then, during the day, just one click, we turn them into a table. We throw a tablecloth over it and eat our Meals and play our games on it! Have messy kids? No problem, don't use the tablecloth then spray down the table when you're done! These are made of great materials! They are light in weight so easy to move around. We left them out on the covered deck this last winter and they were still in great shape this last spring. We hope they last for many years. My sister liked them so much she bought some also.

Lifetime products don't last. We thought it would last more than just a few years before the slats started to break. We had to replace half the bench slates within 3 years and now that the rest are failing after year 5, Lifetime won't send replacement slats. Very disappointing. A

I’ve owned my pair of these for years. They’ve held up well to the west and have endured many picnics and use. Recently my son was cleaning the deck and somehow put a knee through one of the bench seats. Still don’t know how but, after searching everywhere for material I could replace it with, I resorted to contacting Lifetime about getting replacement parts. They’ve been very accommodating and thoughtful in dealing with the problem. The parts are apparently available through them. Thanks to Heidi for the help!
