Honestly just got it yesterday and haven't put it together, but I have seen the product before and know it is going to be great for our needs.

I purchased a Lifetime Convertible bench from Sams Club in April, 2019 and just noticed that one of the slats had snapped in two. Contacted Customer Service and a new slat is on the way. The customer service rep was most helpful and I would highly recommend this bench..sturdy and well constructed. We plan on purchasing another one next spring.

Relatively easy to put together, even for a 76 year old woman doing it by herself. And this is a very sturdy, heavy duty bench that definitely will not blow away in a windstorm. It converts easily from bench to table, though you will need an arm reach of at least five feet. And because of its weight I suggest building it in place unless you have someone to help move it. I bought a second bench so I now have a full sized picnic table that will easily seat six.

I am angry today as I found out that our recent purchase does not earn us Sam’s cash. The item was not available in the store but we are not able to receive Sam’s cash for the pricey purchase. I was on the phone forever after receiving an email that we did not have active membership…which we do!

We have had our convertible bench/picnic tables for several years now a few years ago they received some damage from some large hail (softball sized) that broke a few of the slates. We contacted Lifetime and they sent us replacement parts right away. We were so impressed we ended up buying 2 more of the same kind of bench/picnic tables (although these have plastic seats and table tops. Just recently a couple of the slates on the original set got broken when we had some guests over. I again contacted customer service and they are sending out replacement parts right now. I highly recommend there products.

we had the convertible bench for more than 10 years sitting in our uncovered patio and Is still in good shape despite being under the sun and rain on those years, no rust and most of the slats are still good.Unfortunately 2 of the slats have come to its end and had chipped and cracked. Contacted costumer service for replacement for the slat only because we do not want to replace the whole thing since its still in good shape. Got a reply the next day and shipment of the replacement parts were processed the same day. Very impressed not only with the product but the costumer service as well. We’ll definitely recommend!

This is a great product! Everyone that sees it wants one. I broke a board on it (dropped a nail gun from a shelf above) and they helped replace it!! I did not think Customer Service like this existed anymore! I have a few Lifetime items and will be buying more.

Assembly was not difficult. The construction quality is good. Conversion between bench and desk is easy. For some reason I feel conversion mechanism could be improved. Also the desk seems not level with ground it is very slightly inclined. I have attached the level-check pic of the desk when kept on a level ground. Hence a missing star. Bench is alright. None of these are deal breakers for a picnic bench though. I wanted to buy 2 of them, bought the last one online in July 2020 and have to wait to buy another till the stock is available -September2020 or later.

Allen wrench and allen screws rounded out before I got it tight. Took at least 45 minutes to assemble. Needed extra hands for best experience. Lots of tedious parts to put seat back together. An ice pick will help align the screw holes. Although a wrench is included, sockets and open end will make it easier. In spite of the name, this only has a 2 year warranty.

We have 2 so we can use as a picnic bench or turn them around to create a seating area in our small courtyard garden. They look great and feel robust. The surfaces can be quickly wiped dry after rain so we can use them straight after a rain shower without getting a wet bum! The table can be sanitized before eating which we find very helpful. They are just the right height for my husband and son but a little too tall for my shorter legs
