I bought this as a smash cake and large cupcake is an understatement. It easily could have fed 12-18 people. It was perfect for our little one’s first birthday and was easy to decorate like a fairy house for the theme

The idea of this giant cupcake is definitely fun. I recently purchased one to celebrate my birthday. There were two varieties, and I chose the chocolate one with peanut butter flavored filling. The cake was a tad bit dry, but just slightly. The rich frosting and the filling compensated for that. Overall the taste of this cake was quite delicious/decadent. My issue with this item was the cupcake "wrapper" around it. I noticed it upon purchase and just thought it had a paper ring to help hold it together, but in actuality, it was fully wrapped - sides AND bottom, just like a cupcake. The sides were adhered to the cake, making serving it very difficult. It was challenging to carefully tear the side wrapping all the way to the bottom without compromising the cake. The end result was globs of cake on everyone's plate that didn't in the least resemble a slice of cake. I mean it still tasted good, but if your event is based on presentation, skip this one. Also the price point is too high, especially for Sam's Club. A cake, with filling, this size would have been less expensive AND not had the crazy wrapper to contend with. Although I LOVED the flavor combination, this was definitely a one time purchase.

Too hard to cut. You can not remove the outside liner for one. When you try to cut the cake, there isn't enough to keep it from falling apart. It is just a mess. The cake and the filling are yummy though. Just don't expect to have a pretty slice of cake. Maybe turn it into a torte.

Description states this would feed 16-20 people. No way! It was difficult to cut and serve and fell apart. The cupcake paper was tough and difficult to remove so the cake could be served. I thought so could just cut through it but no. It did have a delicious taste.

Looks delicious but when you try to cut it there is cardboard all the way around the cake and on the bottom. If you remove the paper and cut it the cake falls apart. The cake looks rich but the chocolate is so light you can’t taste it. The peanut mousse is also light and doesn’t taste like peanut butter. I would not recommend it nor would I buy the cake again.

While it is tasty, it's side is wrapped in a thick cardboard like covering making it very difficult to get at to cut. Then when you do cut it, it falls apart. Never again. Pass on this one!

This was not my least favorite cake. The cake was dry and crumbly It did have a peanut butter filling which was very rich. I couldn't eat an individual piece. I gave the cake away to someone else. Wish Sams would bring back the mini red velvet cakes!

Unlike the photo that shows the filling in the very center, the cake we got had the filling much closer to the outside which made cutting it very difficult. Also, the cupcake paper on the outside was stuck to the cake and pulled a lot of cake away when it was removed. And the chocolate cake itself was quite dry.

Awful, this was so terrible i threw it out. I think it comes in frozen and they put it in the cooler with a day sticker maybe moving the date out if it doesn't sell. This was so dry and crumbling. Waste of money.
