It's fairly powerful, the brush head is narrower than some other vacuums but it's very maneuverable. I do have issues with the dust container though. The first time I emptied it took some figuring out. I ended up spilling half the contents on myself. Just figure it out ahead of time and you should be okay. Butt still it's a little awkward. Long cord is convenient.

Amazing upgrade from my previous vacuum and I appreciate the corded option to alleviate the need to charge. The suction is very strong and there’s a night LED guided light to see the dirt you need to pick up. The y it comes with are great. Used one of them to vacuum my couches and bed with no ease. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars are the fact that it doesn’t stand up right without you holding it. You have to remove the top and hang it on the front if you need it to stand up and walk away for a sec and that’s kind of annoying. If you’ve been going back and forth on a new vacuum and don’t want to spend Dyson money, this is the one to go with!

Needed a vacuum and wanted it to be compact with good suction. After reviewing some different versions online I settled on shark rocket and I am very impressed with the suction power. Easy to use. My only complaint would be it does not come with an attachment to hang it and the other attachments it does come with do not attach the vacuum itself. Overall I'm satisfied with my purchase.

This vacuum serves the purpose. I live in a two-level home with wood flooring and an area rug on the first floor and was simply looking for a compact vacuum that I could house on the first floor; and not have to transport a vacuum up and down the steps to vacuum the carpet on the second floor. This Shark is small enough to fit in a coat closet, lightweight, has a suitable lengthy electrical cord and has decent power. The transfer from carpet to hardwood floors is seamless and does not require an adjustment—allowing me to vacuum my entire first floor in less than 15 minutes. Again, it serves the purpose and I am happy that I purchased it when I did. I look forward to vacuuming the house now and it can be done effortlessly!

Whoever designed this doesn’t actually vacuum in their home. While the unit itself is light, all of the weight is at the very top of the handle making it incredibly uncomfortable to use for longer than a few minutes. The head has almost no weight at all so it constantly wants to lift off of the floor while vacuuming. The suction is decent but the high pitched whine the vacuum produces is near headache inducing. You have to lean the vacuum on something or store it upside down on a hook which isn’t super convenient. I use it in an office building with little dirt and dust, I couldn’t imagine using this in a home with children and pets. Overall would not purchase it myself and loathe using it at work.

Lightweight but does a good job. Lots of attachments. I have a Dyson for heavy duty cleaning but it doesn't easily get under things. The Shark gets under furniture easily. The dirt cup is easy to empty. I've only been using the Shark for a few weeks but so far I like it. I talked my mom into buying one also.

This is the best vacuum cleaner that I ever had. It is lightweight and it has a good suction. We have a German shepherd dog who sheds constantly. This vacuum cleaner is good in picking up dog hair and has a flexible head that can go under the bed and furniture. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Bought this yesterday and the vacuum works marvelous. It is supposed to be able to attach to the wall but it doesn’t come with the hardware. This is pathetic to advertise a vacuum that can be hung up and it doesn’t come with it! False advertising so I’ll bring it back

While this works well on bare floor and small carpet/rugs, it does Not Work at all on High Pile rugs or carpets. The roller stop and red lights flash. Our last Shark Stick Vacuum would work on high pile so we were shocked when this one would not. Unfortunately we had to take it back.

My housekeeper uses this cleaner. I bought this because my floors look amazing after she is finished and because the cordless doesn't seem to pick up well. I was extremely please with the performance of the Shark. It works great on floors, carpets and rugs. It's easy to maneuver. It doesn't get sucked up into rugs. My only complaint is the thickness of the bar floor attachment. It doesn't go under my furniture. I either have to pull furniture out or walk all the way around sofa and recliner. All are raised so I wouldn't have to do that. I highly recommend it.
