Within a month of owning the vacuum, the clip that holds the tube upright broke. (tiny plastic piece) This requires the user to support the vacuum in an upright position at all times. The motor is in the top portion of the vacuum which means it's really heavy, and see above, with the broken piece requiring the vacuum to always be supported. The head at the base of the tube doesn't flex well so you are very limited in how far you can vacuum, away from your body. The container that holds the dirt isn't closed so if you turn the vacuum sideways dirt falls back out. The suction on the vacuum is poor which requires several go-overs to actually collect most of the dirt. Forget about getting bigger than small crumbs.Again, the suction is very poor. I've had the vacuum for under a year and already will be getting a replacement!

This is the best vacuum cleaner that I ever had. It is lightweight and it has a good suction. We have a German shepherd dog who sheds constantly. This vacuum cleaner is good in picking up dog hair and has a flexible head that can go under the bed and furniture. I’m very happy with my purchase.

A nice and compact vacuum that has good power, however, i cant seem to find a location where i can place the attachments so they dont get lost. Would be a better product if the attachments hung somewhere on the vacuum for easy reference and safekeeping.

This vacuum serves the purpose. I live in a two-level home with wood flooring and an area rug on the first floor and was simply looking for a compact vacuum that I could house on the first floor; and not have to transport a vacuum up and down the steps to vacuum the carpet on the second floor. This Shark is small enough to fit in a coat closet, lightweight, has a suitable lengthy electrical cord and has decent power. The transfer from carpet to hardwood floors is seamless and does not require an adjustment—allowing me to vacuum my entire first floor in less than 15 minutes. Again, it serves the purpose and I am happy that I purchased it when I did. I look forward to vacuuming the house now and it can be done effortlessly!

I really wanted to love this vacuum. its advertised as having an XL dust cup with powerful suction neither are true the dust cup is small and it struggled to suck up kitty litter. I was only able to vacuum 2 rooms and half a stair case befor it overheated. I checked for clogs there weren't any. I purchased it less than a week ago from sams club. the only good thing I have to say is sams club except the return no questions asked.

This is my second Shark, not because the first gave up the ghost but because my wonderful hubby finished my She Shed with carpet that needed a vacuum. Since I love my first one I had to get another. It takes up little space in my craft room and is so easy to clean up footprint, dirt, threads, etc. Love it!

This is a perfect vacuum. Especially if you have mostly hardwood floors but works just as well on carpet. Super light yet effective. The floor part easily pops off for cleaning nooks with handheld. It has a hook so you can hang it. Otherwise it won’t just sit up on it’s own which is the only negative.

Shark offers a great package with this amazing vacuum and low price. I love the lights, so I can see all the dirt. Power button is in a great location. I buy a new Shark every year (I clean houses). Definitely my favorite. I think the Oder neutralizer is not needed. And the power cord could be put in a better location. I will buy this again!

It's fairly powerful, the brush head is narrower than some other vacuums but it's very maneuverable. I do have issues with the dust container though. The first time I emptied it took some figuring out. I ended up spilling half the contents on myself. Just figure it out ahead of time and you should be okay. Butt still it's a little awkward. Long cord is convenient.

Lightweight but does a good job. Lots of attachments. I have a Dyson for heavy duty cleaning but it doesn't easily get under things. The Shark gets under furniture easily. The dirt cup is easy to empty. I've only been using the Shark for a few weeks but so far I like it. I talked my mom into buying one also.
