Very clear sound and easy to adjust the features. I can wear it and it listens to commands allows me to pause and have a conversation or listen to announcements. It’s quick and smart. I leave it on sense engine and it quickly adapts to the areas I am in to adjust the sound and allows background noise.

I figured it was time to try out a new pair. I've been very pleasantly surprised by how well this set of wireless noise-canceling headphones. Here are my favorite features: • REALLY long battery life. I wear these wireless noise-canceling headphones most of the day on conference calls and typically only need to charge them once a week. My other pair I had to charge nightly. • Comfort - These are very comfortable to wear -- even for extended periods. • Smart Control - I love that these automatically pause music/playback when you take them off. Ingenious! The gesture controls built in for volume are also a nice touch. • Adjustable EQ - You can adjust the playback to suit your needs. Highly recommended!

I watch many headphones review before finally choosing this one. I consider Bose and B&O, but I have B&O and I was thinking about having different brand of headphones for comparison. The design is great for me. It feels premium and looks simple, and the headphones are really comfortable. They are very light, it feels like you aren’t wearing any headphones. The pads covering the ears are so soft and pillowy. Moreover, they come with a hard case that definitely will protect them if you put them in your bag. Now for the sound. I’m definitely not an expert. For me, the sound is quite great, and you can customise it with the equaliser which will make your experience better. Strictly speaking, my B&O give a light and clear sound, while Sony give a heavy, bassy, but also still clear. Now for the minus. It is only a week or so but I have some bugs. When I connect them to my phone, the volume suddenly increase to the max. The first time I had this it really hurt my ears because I was playing some rock music. Now I always be very careful and check the volume first before start playing the music. Other than that, sometimes the headphones give some sort of static sound when the ANC is on. It get lost when you start playing the music, but i dont think it should happen in this premium product. Once when I was watching Youtube, suddenly my headphones went off by itself. And once I had this headphones on and listening on some music, but then I can’t operate the touch sensor on the headphone, i can’t adjust the volume, pause/play, and skip to next track. I had to turn it off first before it would work again. If you can repair these bugs I will be very happy to give 5 stars. Actually these bugs arent that disturbing, but I really expect more when purchasing this product.

This is my third Sony high res headset I own. I bought last week mainly because of 2 new features I didn't have on WH-1000XM3. I really lowed WH-1000XM3s because excellent sound quality. On XM3 NC worked fine in the office, but sometimes had issues outside withe repeated sounds, let's see how XM4s will perform.. I use the headphones in the office and support for 2 devices is finally supported, but NOTE there is something specs and advertisements don't say. If you enable this feature the LDAC is gone and it will switch headphones to AAC 44khz/16bit only. So my question to Sony is if it would be possible to keep for example LDAC (2 channels) on phone and AAC for laptop with some future firmware update? I'm switching between modes often to enjoy TIDAL music in better quality, but another issue is that headphones don't reconnect to second device automatically. So you need to enable second device support in the menu and go to different menu to reactivate second device. Another idea to Sony: Make this as an option to button and reconnect to second last used device automatically. Second new feature I really like is new sensor which will stop music when you take headphones off. I experienced some small issue today. Not sure if it was the trigger, but I walked with phones off my ears and heard email notification coming to headphones an then music started playing. I just moved them a bit and music stopped again. I was hopping for redesigned touch control which is quite a pain. Maybe next time? I have a feeling that NC is better even passive when headset is off. Comfortable to wear even outside on the street. Didn't experience any troubles like on previous model, but maybe I didn't met similar conditions yet. With XM3 the issue was for example in train when window was open and columns along the trail were creating specific noise. The headphones generated even louder noise and the only solution was turn this feature off. There are new mics inside which might hopefully prevent this situation. So some improvements are still needed, but overall the sound quality is still outstanding and I'm still ranking 5 stars.

The features that come with this device are is what's needed especially with noise cancelation, easy connectivity, sound customization within the app and comfort with wear. These headphones are worth every dollar and cent.

If you have two guys playing video games in the house and need to drown them out, look no further. The quality of music is great to. You can hear instrumentals that you wouldn’t normally hear with any other headphones. You also can take calls and get things done!

The charging case is truly gigantic making it kind of a pain to carry with you. But the main problem with this product is that the charge case does not give an indicator of the charge level of either the case or the earbuds contained therein. Those seem like truly basics that any product in this category should have.

I am very happy to be able to test these headphones, they are very good, they have high quality audio, noise suspension according to atmospheric pressure and with a 30-hour battery, hands-free calls and it also has a case to protect them. I am so happy with them, that I would not want to stop using them I like them very much they are so comfortable and resistant I recommend them they are the best.
