[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sony Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones are fantastic. The ease in which they sync up to your phone and the listening pleasure I received. I couldn’t believe how all background noise is nonexistent. I tried it around my grandchildren and it worked like a charm. I heard nothing but the music coming from my headphones. And that was it. I’ve been looking for headphones like this for so long.

Sound is beyond perfect.really comfortable fit ,they don't hurt your ears at all.noise canceling is excellent. Really nice carrying case for them.really like the touch to pause feature. I love using these for work,its nice to drown out the noise of the machinery.. makes my day go bye faster with these. Thank you for a most awesome product I love them!

A smarter version of the previous model. Great sound and improved noise cancellation are complemented by upgraded features. 'Speak to chat' feature is especially handy, it automatically recognizes your voice and pauses noise cancellation and music whenever you speak. Also, it is great to be able to connect my headphones to two devices simultaneously. Battery life is impressive as ever. Great experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! Right out the box I turned these headphones on and paired with my phone. Just like that the sound was bumping in my ears. The sound was bomb! Crisp, clear, nice base! Instructions say east set up, to download the app then connect. I connected without. I'm sure once I play around with the app I can enhance the sound quality even more. I happen to be watching the premiere of Dancing WTS in the background and these headphones definitely canceled out the noise at a low volume. Would probably be great on a plane or trying to cancel out the sounds for peace and quiet when you can't find peace and quiet. Im excited to put these to good use. If you purchase them you won't be disappointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are fantastic headphones. They are good looking and extremely comfortable. The sound is fantastic. The noise cancelling feature works great and it's nice to be able to switch to ambient noise if you want. The microphones work great when making a call. Anyone I have spoken with says it's crystal clear. Battery life is also excellent. Sony has always made great headphones and these are no different. Great quality and function. The only negative I have is the length of the charging cord. It's maybe 6" long. That's not long enough. I don't know what they were thinking. It's a USB-C so it wouldn't cost them much to make it at least a couple of feet long. Not a huge deal but something I noticed. Overall I am very pleased with these and would highly recommend.

Loved these while they lasted. The sound quality was good, and the noise canceling is excellent, comfortable to wear too. The main issue is that they fell apart just after the warranty period despite only light use. Search on the internet shows lots of people complaining about weak hinge design and sony uninterested

I got these for christmas back in 2020. early on these were wonderful, the sound quality is amazing, the touch controls were convenient, and the setup was simple and effective, HOWEVER there are some software features these NEED if i am to reccomend these to anyone. Speak to chat will turn on randomly even if i have the feature turned off in the app. The amount of times im watching content or listening to music only to have it stop because of this "feature" that i have TURNED OFF is infuriating. They also NEED to let us choose what touch controls WE WANT. I only personally care for the volume control and skip track features but there are multiple additional controls that i dont want to use. The extra controls would be nice IF they were optional but instead it's all or nothing. I would love to reccomend these to everyone but these issues make me hate using these things. Even just google searching the speak to chat issue brings up tons of forum posts and threads of people with the EXACT SAME ISSUES.

I would definitely recommend for anyone that’s looking for once I get it because it’s very light weight and it fits into my bag once it’s folded so it doesn’t take up my space

This is my third Sony high res headset I own. I bought last week mainly because of 2 new features I didn't have on WH-1000XM3. I really lowed WH-1000XM3s because excellent sound quality. On XM3 NC worked fine in the office, but sometimes had issues outside withe repeated sounds, let's see how XM4s will perform.. I use the headphones in the office and support for 2 devices is finally supported, but NOTE there is something specs and advertisements don't say. If you enable this feature the LDAC is gone and it will switch headphones to AAC 44khz/16bit only. So my question to Sony is if it would be possible to keep for example LDAC (2 channels) on phone and AAC for laptop with some future firmware update? I'm switching between modes often to enjoy TIDAL music in better quality, but another issue is that headphones don't reconnect to second device automatically. So you need to enable second device support in the menu and go to different menu to reactivate second device. Another idea to Sony: Make this as an option to button and reconnect to second last used device automatically. Second new feature I really like is new sensor which will stop music when you take headphones off. I experienced some small issue today. Not sure if it was the trigger, but I walked with phones off my ears and heard email notification coming to headphones an then music started playing. I just moved them a bit and music stopped again. I was hopping for redesigned touch control which is quite a pain. Maybe next time? I have a feeling that NC is better even passive when headset is off. Comfortable to wear even outside on the street. Didn't experience any troubles like on previous model, but maybe I didn't met similar conditions yet. With XM3 the issue was for example in train when window was open and columns along the trail were creating specific noise. The headphones generated even louder noise and the only solution was turn this feature off. There are new mics inside which might hopefully prevent this situation. So some improvements are still needed, but overall the sound quality is still outstanding and I'm still ranking 5 stars.

The features that come with this device are is what's needed especially with noise cancelation, easy connectivity, sound customization within the app and comfort with wear. These headphones are worth every dollar and cent.
