Sturdy, Bluetooth Noise-cancelling Headphones
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first set of noise cancelling headphones. They appear well-made and have impressive features, which include bluetooth, touch sensors, voice-command functionality, and excellent audio. They even come with a nice-looking storage case. If you know that you enjoy wearing noise-canceling headphones, I'd recommend these for you. However, I do not enjoy the suction-cup feeling on my ears when wearing these, and they make my ears feel hot and sweaty. Also, there is a low hum sound that is unpleasant to my highly-sensitive hearing. I cannot see myself wearing these for more than an hour at a time.

To ensure a comfortable fit and to use the unit for longer periods, please adjust the left and right slider. This unit also has super-soft, pressure-relieving earpads foamed urethane that evenly distributes pressure. Too bad, no upgrade for me, LDAC and AAC only
Was going to upgrade my WH-1000XM3 headphones to get the Bluetooth 5.0 goodness, but can't the XM4s only have AAC and LDAC codecs, so much for that. I'm not going to limit my phone/tablet/whatever purchase to only ones that support AAC and LDAC. Sorry, No Aptx HD option means no upgrade, at least not to Sony products. We'll see who the first one to make high quality, noise cancelling headphones with Bluetooth 5.0 and support for AptX HD or at least a decent set of codec options.

We appreciate your feedback about not having an APTX HD codec support. However, this unit supports LDAC which gives the ability to stream Hi-Res music content, even over a Bluetooth connection. Don't do it if you expect to use for work!
I bought these headphones to use at work (Dell computer, running microsoft products). They are useless. In fact, more than useless. I don't even bother with bluetooth anymore. And when plugged in, most often I can hear the call, but no one on the call can hear me, or vice versa, and I revert to my plug in Apple earphones from 20XX. None of the manuals solve the problem on a long term basis, and there's never a support agent available... oh and since it's +30 days, i can't return.

Regarding wired use, the mic function is disabled when using the supplied headphones cable. These headphones are designed for music playback. We cannot guarantee that it will work flawlessly with computer applications. For Bluetooth connection problems, first make sure your Dell computer's Bluetooth drivers are up to date. Please visit the support site of your computer's manufacturer for your specific model. Also, update the firmware of your WH-1000XM4 headphones through the Sony Sound Connect app, as this might resolve connectivity issues. The situation may be improved by changing the wireless playback quality settings. Set the headset to “Priority on stable connection” in the Sony Sound Connect app. When pairing, make sure you're selecting the correct device, wait for "WH-1000XM4" to appear on your device list, not "LE_WH-1000XM4", which might indicate Low Energy mode causing problems. If you're connecting to multiple devices, manage the Multipoint Connection feature correctly through the Sony app to avoid interference. Check if your device supports both HFP and HSP, when you make a video call/voice chat on your computer, select calling connections (HFP/HSP) and not music playback connections (A2DP). If you select music playback connections, the microphone/voice chat may not be available. Please note that you will notice a bit of quality difference. Amazing quality and features!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am extremely impressed with these Sony wireless headphones. Everything from the packaging to the sound quality is exceptional. Upon opening this product I was blown away with how nice the traveling case was to protect the head phones. The charging cable and airplane cable fit perfectly in the case. The headphones themselves are made so well and the directions made set up a breeze. These headphones are the highest quality I’ve ever seen, you even take a picture of your ears for the best output. The cupping of the ear is comfortable and secure, the sound is impeccable. I have used these while running and on the tractor and it blocks out all surrounding sound and adjusts perfectly to the environment. They are extremely easy to charge and the charge lasts so long compared to other headphones I’ve used. Everything about these headphones is amazing and I highly recommend them to anyone on a search for a great pair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife surprised me these Sony noise canceling M4 headphones and I’m glad she did. I’ve had several different types of headphones and use them for all types of things from gaming to listening to music. I’ve always struck out trying to find some that I loved, until I received these. They fit great over the ear and does a awesome job of canceling all noise around you. A few things I really enjoyed is that To activate the sound mode all you have to do is start talking. When you remove the headphone the music stops automatically and then when you place them back on the music starts. If your looking for awesome noise canceling headphones then you have definitely found the right one. Easy to sync with your phone and connect. Battery lasted for several hours before needing charged. You can connect 2 devices at the same time. Love it!!

Great but they have some bugs
I watch many headphones review before finally choosing this one. I consider Bose and B&O, but I have B&O and I was thinking about having different brand of headphones for comparison. The design is great for me. It feels premium and looks simple, and the headphones are really comfortable. They are very light, it feels like you aren’t wearing any headphones. The pads covering the ears are so soft and pillowy. Moreover, they come with a hard case that definitely will protect them if you put them in your bag. Now for the sound. I’m definitely not an expert. For me, the sound is quite great, and you can customise it with the equaliser which will make your experience better. Strictly speaking, my B&O give a light and clear sound, while Sony give a heavy, bassy, but also still clear. Now for the minus. It is only a week or so but I have some bugs. When I connect them to my phone, the volume suddenly increase to the max. The first time I had this it really hurt my ears because I was playing some rock music. Now I always be very careful and check the volume first before start playing the music. Other than that, sometimes the headphones give some sort of static sound when the ANC is on. It get lost when you start playing the music, but i dont think it should happen in this premium product. Once when I was watching Youtube, suddenly my headphones went off by itself. And once I had this headphones on and listening on some music, but then I can’t operate the touch sensor on the headphone, i can’t adjust the volume, pause/play, and skip to next track. I had to turn it off first before it would work again. If you can repair these bugs I will be very happy to give 5 stars. Actually these bugs arent that disturbing, but I really expect more when purchasing this product.

I've got 2 pairs
Bought a pair of these for my wife for her birthday and I loved him so much I bought a pair too and everybody that I speak to I refer them. Excellent battery life awesome sound quality we wear ours outside during yard work we also wear them while mowing on our ZTR the noise cancellation works great! I wish I could turn the volume up louder on the ambient aware would be the only thing I would change

And I’ve owned a lot (frequent gym rat here) these headphones aren’t lying when they say noise canceling. You can’t hear anything putting them on! So soft and comfortable that my ears don’t hurt after a hour of working out. The ear part adjust and when you take them off to talk or do whatever it actually pauses the music until you put them back on! Crazy right! I can’t tell you enough to GET THESE!! I love love love them and would highly suggest anybody looking for a great pair of headphones to get these!!

Great headphones but...
I've been wearing these for a few weeks and there is an annoying clicking sound that developed in the left headphone. When I move my face or turn my head... click, click, click. It is driving me crazy and not what I would expect after doing my research and buying what I thought would be the best bluetooth noise cancelling headphones on the market.

Great Product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always put my headphones in when cutting grass, running, etc. The outside noise when cutting the grass, the hearing of your own breathing while running, led me to these. I walked outside with them the first time and was amazed at the outside sounds were very weak. I decided to give it a try while cutting the grass, and I was equally impressed. The noise cancelling ability is trully amazing. If I had one con about this product, its the size. I think all noise cancelling products are this big, but the pros definetly outweigh the cons. I use these all the time now when running and cutting grass. Very peaceful!
