The Sony wireless noise canceling headphones caught my attention because of the features. Quick charging just 10 minutes of charging gives 5 hours of playback time. On a full charge 30 to 38 hours of playback time. Hands free calling, and voice assistants features all easy to use. Comes with headphone cable, Plug in adaptor and USB type C cable. The sound is so clear giving a high quality performing audio above others I have used. Noise canceling works for me while listening even with others around me or even the television on I can concentrate on what I am listening too without disruptions.

This past week I was looking for some headphones at my local retail store and saw a pair of these on the shelf. The second I put them on the noise canceling brought me into another world, that's the thing that originally and truly sold me on these headphones. Honestly, these are the best wireless anc headphones, and over the best wireless headphones I have ever used. Whether you are experienced in audio or just starting these are perfect for all. If you want base, you can have as much base as you could need in the extensive app, if you would like to listen to audio from more of a professional standpoint, they are completely perfect for that too. At the price point, and at the quality, and every feature packed into these headphones, they are completely worth every penny.

Best headphones I've ever owned. I wear them most of the day for work and listen to music in between phone calls. I hear everyone I speak to crystal clear and never have issues with dropping calls or people not being able to hear me. Very comfortable not once I have even noticed a bit of discomfort. The sound quality of both my phone calls and the music is outstanding. I've been through a lot of headphones over the years and I can tell you this is one of the best purchases I've made in a long time. I also love how quickly these charge. I get a lot of phone calls from work through the day and at this point I'm so spoiled being hands free. Thankfully if I need a quick charge in just 5-10 minutes I get enough of a charge to get me through the day. The full charge doesn't take long at all either. Very impressed all the way around. No complaints. Extremely happy with them.

I have several big name noise cancelling headphones, including my set for the cockpit and I have to say that these headphones from Sony blow them all out of the water, the noise cancelling is unbelievable and the sound reproduction is spectacular, I can't say enough good things about this product.

First of all, I was very surprised at how comfortable they are and how well they adjust to my head. They are lightweight and not bulky at all! They were easy to connect to my phone by using the Sony Headphones App which is easy to navigate and use, and has many features like giving you the ability to control the background sounds. I also love the buttonless control panel on the side. The sound quality is amazing and the noise cancelation works great! I had them on while the rest of my family was watching TV and I could not hear anything but the podcast I was listening to. This is so great because before I would have to turn the volume up very high on my phone to drown out the TV noise and it would hurt my ears! I also have been using them while I work from home. It is so great not to hear my dog bark or the grass being cut while I am trying to concentrate on my work. I also love the carrying case which will be great for using them when I travel on an airplane. This is a great product from Sony and I highly recommend these headphones. My husband is already wanting a pair!

I realize now that all of the other "noise cancelling" headphones that I have bought in the past were not actually noise cancelling. These definitely are. I'm amazed by how much noise is cancelled. Even if the noise cancelling feature is turned off, these still block out a lot of noise. They sound extremely good. Music and audio are crystal clear, and there's a bit of a nice bass rumble. They were super quick and easy to connect to my laptop and my phone via bluetooth. I love that they can be connected to 2 devices. The bluetooth range seems to be very good. My home is only around 1600 sq ft and I can walk all around the house without the connection cutting out. I very much love that the noise canceling feature can be turned off to allow ambient noise in. I like to be aware of what's going on around me while I am wearing headphones out of the house. There's also a setting that pauses whatever you're listening to when you start to speak. There's also a Quick Attention mode that turns off noise cancellation and turns the music down when you need to quickly listen to something - just cover the right headphone with your hand. That's very cool! They will also pause when you take remove the headphones from your ears. They look really nice. I love the combination of matte black with copper colored logo and accents, they look great! The carrying case is very cleverly designed to allow the headphones to fold up inside it. There's a mesh netting on one side of the outside of the carrying case, I'm not exactly sure what it's for but it can hold something. It's pretty slim and flat and easy to put in a bag and take anywhere with you. The case has an airplane adapter in it, as well as a cable for wired listening, and a short USB-C charging cable. There is no instruction booklet, but I found one on the Sony website that was really helpful, it's very detailed with illustrations and videos. The app is handy, though I haven't used it very much yet. You can control many settings there, like the speak to chat feature, ambient sound control, and there's a noise canceling optimizer you can run, different equalizer settings, etc. You can turn the headphones off with the app. It will also analyze your ear shape, but I have not done this yet. You need a photo of your ears, and you have to remove any ear piercings, and I have too many to remove so I skipped it. The headphones sound absolutely fantastic just as they are. There are touch controls on the outside of the right headphone - you can use your finger to swipe up or down to control the volume, and swipe right or left for going back or forward a song. Very cool! The battery life seems to be very good. I can listen to them for hours a day and only use maybe 10 to 20% or so of the battery. They recharge pretty quickly. You can charge for 10 minutes and get 5 hours of play time, fully charge in 3 hours. They are very comfortable to wear. They're lightweight, the headband is padded and very soft, as are the ear pieces. You can slightly adjust the length to make the band a bit larger or tighter. They stay put on my head while I'm walking around and being active. It's really easy to forget you are wearing them. There are many other features that I haven't explored yet, like the voice assistant - I just don't have a use for that at the moment, but I appreciate that it's there as an option. And I don't get many phone calls so I haven't used it for hands-free calling yet. I am absolutely 100% in love with these headphones and would recommend them to anyone. They're fantastic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The noise canceling capability of these headphones was off the charts! In a extremely noisy room, after putting them on it was dead silent. Bass was lacking a little at full volume, but at moderate volume it was good. The ability to cup the right headphone and hear all outside noises was a great feature that worked well so you don’t have to remove them to hear someone talking to you. Comfort was excellent and very light considering they are full size headphones.

I've had the XM3 for the last 1.5 years. I wear these headphones between 6 and 12 hours a day. The second they break, I'm buying the XM4 without further research or hesitation. These and my iPad pro are my two tech products I can't live without in life these days. The quality of build is great, the battery life, I can't believe how long they run, even in my woodshop where the noise cancelling is a difficult task (and performed well). The audio quality is pristine. The things I hope they've improved upon? Pairing is a pain in the but to achieve (but rock solid once set), it should be easier to transition between devices (phone, ipad, computer). Sometimes voice pickup during calls (the microphone outgoing) is a bit touchy and sometimes it works well.

When first putting them on, I was not sure what to expect, but I was blown away by the sound quality. I closed my eyes and really felt as though I was at a live concert. The sound, rather than just hearing it directly in my ears, it was coming from the sides of me and in back of me. It was like being at a live show. I was so absorbed in the sound, that I completely lost track of time. I have tried many different headphones and usually feel discomfort after a few minutes. These are lightweight and I use them for hours at a time. I love the ease in which they connect to my Wi-Fi and the app. The app gives you complete control, including an EQ. I highly recommend these headphones if you are looking for the utmost in sound quality, and if you want to experience the sound like you are there live. These are the best I have ever had. You will be totally mesmerized by the quality of the headphones themselves, and you will be taken away by the sound. I promise you will love them!
