Nice headphones
The Good: Sound quality is fantastic Noise canceling is fantastic Connection to iphone is fantastic The not so good: The touch controls are okay. I had a little trouble with them picking up what I was trying to do. The "speak to hear outside noise" feature often picks up a cough. The comfort is so-so. I don't think I would use these for very long sessions. The bad: These headphones are completely unusable on Windows 10 with a bluetooth connection. My drivers are up to date but I get constant stuttering and skips made me resort to using the cord which defeats the wireless purpose. Overall: They're a good pair of headphones and would be 5/5 if not for the Windows 10 issues.

Awful App
Grate device, but quality of software so low. Looks like it is not native application, also without UI-design. I can't permanently switch off noise-cancelling. Please hire normal software engineer for writing software instead freelancers (or restrict hardware engineers writing software)

Each time the button is pressed, the function switches as follows and is announced by the voice guidance. Excellent Headphones!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These headphones are truly noise cancelling. I can't hear anything with them on, which makes the music sound way clearer. I tried these on at a loud gym and was amazed that I did not hear any gym noise whatsover, and only my music. Truly amazing!!

Device switching does not work properly.
While the headphones sound great, the device switching feature does not work properly. While it will connect to both devices, there is no way to choose which device you want the headphones to connect to. Instead, the headphones try to figure out which device your listening on based on whether music/audio is playing on the device---this process does not work consistently and routinely results in the headphones not connecting to the device you want to be listening to. This is particularly an issue if you are using them for calls on your computer.

Please make sure that the headphones has the latest software update, please use the Headphones Connect app to update the software. Multipoint is a function which allows you to connect 2 Bluetooth devices to the headset and use one device for music playback (A2DP connection) and the other for calls (HFP/HSP connection). • Music playback when the headset is connected to 2 devices via Bluetooth connections - When playing music by operating the headset, the music is played from the device that played last. - If you want to play music from the other device, stop playback on the device that is playing the music, and start playback by operating the other device. Even if you start playback by operating the second device while playing music on the first device, the music from the first device will continue to be heard via the headset. In this state, if you stop playback on the first device, you can listen to music from the second device via the headset. • Talking on the phone when the headset is connected to 2 devices via Bluetooth connections - When the headset is connected to 2 smartphones, etc. via Bluetooth connections simultaneously, both devices will be in standby mode. - When an incoming call arrives to the first device, a ring tone is heard via the headset. When an incoming call arrives to the second device while talking on the headset, a ring tone is heard via the second device. If you finish the call on the first device, the ring tone from the second device will be heard via the headset. Really Disappointed
I was very much looking forward to using the new headphones and taking advantage of some of the new features added with the XM4 such as multi device pairing and improved comfort. I have to say my initial excitement was only matched by my disappointment when I learned multiple device pairing requires LDAC to be disabled. I spend hours with headphones on every day due to lengthy web conferences and listening to music. My first conference call was met with complaints about my robotic voice or garbled speech. It was obvious to everyone I had an issue with my bluetooth headset. I tried changing almost every combination of setting to alleviate the issue. I ultimately ended up reverting back to my tried and true WH-1000XM3 and the WH-1000XM4 is on its way back to the store. It's too bad because I was expecting to recommend these to my employees and approve a few expense reports for them.

You may need to confirm if the connected devices also support LDAC. When music in supported codecs is transmitted from a connected device, the headset switches to that codec automatically and plays back the music in the same codec. Install the latest headset software using the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app to enjoy new functions or to resolve a certain number of issues with the headset. Always use the headset with the latest software installed. Great sound and fit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones sound great and fit great. This is my first pair of noise cancelling headphones, so I couldn't believe the difference in using these headphones. I really like the case for traveling and storage, all the pieces fit in it nicely. It comes with a charging cord, an airplane adapter and a cord to connect it to your phone or music device and works with bluetooth as well. They are adjustable, they have nice padding across the top of your head and around your ears. They power on easily and after setup they connect quickly with my android phone. They are very comfortable and able to be worn for hours of great listening. Thes Sony headphones are awesome and I have enjoyed using them and definitely say give them a try for yourself.

Spectacular Sound
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wear headphones every day to listen to podcasts while I walk the dog, do yard work, clean up the house, etc. These are by far the most impressive pair I’ve ever owned. They are lightweight and comfortable … sit firmly on head without being too tight on the ears. Controls are easy to use once you get the hang of them. The buttonless touch control panel is cool but easy to bump accidentally until you figure it out. Sound is superior … lifelike and not echoey at all. And the noise canceling design is top notch. I literally could not hear my husband talking to me a few feet away. My only negative isn’t really a big deal. The charging cord is VERY short … but I just used another one I already had. If you want to invest in a pair of high-end headphones, put these on the top of your list.

Best noise canceling Headphones!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Without a doubt the most comfortable headphone I ever wore.The headphone became extension of my head and ears,so there is no bending of the ear or pressure on the ear.They are very comfortable,I could wear these literally all day.The build quality is great and the noise canceling function is amazing.I can connect these headphones to 2 blue tooth devices.I barely ever charge the batteries and the headset gives a warning with 1-2 hours of listening time left,so I have ever been stranded needing to use the included cable-lasts about 2 weeks between charges with my current use. All the touch controls are reliable and customizable buttons are great for hearing text messages,asking Alexa/google questions,adjusting noise canceling modes etc. Overall great sound,nice quality,rich features and very comfortable.If you are looking for noise cancellation at its best,don’t look elsewhere and buy this immediately,you will not regret it.

Best headphones that I have ever owned.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had these headphones for a little over a week and I have to say that they are indeed the best headphones that I have ever owned. The sound quality on these headphones is great and the noise cancellation does a great job of reducing the outside noise. Another thing that I like about these headphones is that the battery seems to last forever which is pretty nice if you use them for work or you don't feel like plugging them in all the time. The one gripe that I have with these headphones though is how you change the volume or rewind or skip music. You see they have you swipe on the right side of the headphones like you would a tablet which makes raising the volume rather tedious because you have to swipe multiple times. I prefer having a button for these functions because its much easer to press a button than swiping multiple times.

Great technology
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am absolutely loving these wireless noise-cancelling headphones. They are the best that I have ever had. I downloaded the app and paired very quickly with my cell phone. The charge lasts a really long time for wireless headphones and they charge really fast. The noise cancelling is amazing. I used on a plane, in the airport, walking on the sidewalk, and at home. I guess the headphones automatically adjust to your environment, which is really cool. The sound was great in all these environments. I also used the headphones to take phone calls and they worked well. I also like the the music on the headphones pauses when you take them off. Great sound, easy to use, great tech, and quality product.
