[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great. I have a very loud household, with an almost 2 year old who likes to scream. The noise cancellation is KEY and works so well. These also seem to fit my ears well and stay in better than another popular brand!

Without the VPT surrounds settings, in specific the concert hall setting, these headphones sound terrible for classical music. Had the WX-1000MX2 and the VPT settings made classical music sound great. Just recently upgraded to the MX4 and was very disappointed to see that setting removed.

I’ve had several different types of headphones and use them for all types of things from gaming to listening to music. I’ve always struck out trying to find some that I loved, until I received these. They fit great over the ear and does a awesome job of canceling all noise around you. A few things I really enjoyed is that To activate the sound mode all you have to do is start talking. When you remove the headphone the music stops automatically and then when you place them back on the music starts. If your looking for awesome noise canceling headphones then you have definitely found the right one. Easy to sync with your phone and connect. Battery lasted for several hours before needing charged. You can connect 2 devices at the same time. Love it!!

I tried these on at a loud gym and was amazed that I did not hear any gym noise whatsover, and only my music. Truly amazing!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I love about these headphones is they are a great size, not super bulky. They are also extremely comfortable to wear.. They have a cushioned band and the earpieces swivel meaning the instantly self adjust to your head shape instead of having a one size fits all, stiff fit. These have very soft earpads, don't squish my ears and are so light weight, I forget I'm wearing them! These headphones were very easy to connect via the Sony headphones connect app, and the dashboard for controlling them is remarkably easy to navigate. There are so many in app options including an equalizer, the option of mapping your ears for better sound delivery and even adjusts sound quality to your actions like sitting or walking. The noise canceling ability of the Sony 1000XM4s is nothing short of perfection. I cannot hear people taking to me that are literally standing a mere 2 feet away. Sound quality is absolutely remarkable! The bass is nice, you can hear every instrument and voices are in the forefront, they sound like your at a live concert! I like that they pause your music when the headphones are removed! The sound quality in regards to calls is exquisite, crystal clear with no static or drop out; you couldn't ask for anything better! These last 30 hours on one single charge which is perfect for long shifts at work and for me in general since ai tend to forget to charge things. In addition to that, these are fast charging: it takes about 10 or 15 minutes to get around 5 more hours of battery! These have everything I would ask for if I designed my own pair of headphones; I am so impressed! If you are even considering purchasing these, don't waste another second and do it!

First the good stuff: the audio quality is excellent. Further, more than any other headset I have ever purchased, these are incredibly durable. For someone who overuses headphones (even falling asleep in them, etc.), this is very important. Compared to something like Beats Studio3, which I used to own, these have lasted far longer. One thing that really bothers me is the voice notification system. Specifically, every time you connect or disconnect to the headphones, there is a beep and a loud robot voice interrupts to tell you about the connection or disconnection. It takes like 10 seconds during which the headphones are unusable. Ex: you are connected to your phone and your laptop, but you decide to go for a run, leaving your laptop at home. Once you get away from your house, the robot voice interrupts your podcast/song/audiobook to notify you that your second device was disconnected. Ex: you connect to your laptop to listen to a YouTube video. You start watching the video but the voice interrupts and you miss the beginning of the video, so you have to rewind. It is extremely annoying and unnecessary. And there is no way to turn this off in settings, I have tried. I know it seems very small but it is actually very frustrating, and for a product that is this expensive they should’ve removed such an obnoxious feature. I hope this is fixed in an update or in the next model, otherwise I will have to look around for other headphone options. If I’m paying 400 for headphones they should be devoid of poorly designed features like this.

I am extremely impressed with the quality of sound and they definitely cancel all outside noise. Having to register the headphones to Sony's app is a little frustrating, but perhaps will amplify and add value to the overall experience. So far, so good.

I bought this last week on a recommendation from a friend. First, I made the mistake of selling my beats to get these (as an upgrade) my previous headphones had a better noise cancelling functionality than these. I can hear the air conditioning from the vent in my office even with the noise cancelling feature turned on. My husband was also disappointed because they are not supported with the PS4 (although there are claims they work with the PS5) and although they connected seamlessly to his PC while gaming, he had a lag with his microphone because it seems that this headset has two separate drivers (one for the audio, and the other for the mic input). I will be returning his headset since I paid too much for him not to be able to use them for all purposes. And I'm debating whether or not to return mine...the noise cancelling feature was not as good as my previous headset.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Without a doubt the most comfortable headphone I ever wore.The headphone became extension of my head and ears,so there is no bending of the ear or pressure on the ear.They are very comfortable,I could wear these literally all day.The build quality is great and the noise canceling function is amazing.I can connect these headphones to 2 blue tooth devices.I barely ever charge the batteries and the headset gives a warning with 1-2 hours of listening time left,so I have ever been stranded needing to use the included cable-lasts about 2 weeks between charges with my current use. All the touch controls are reliable and customizable buttons are great for hearing text messages,asking Alexa/google questions,adjusting noise canceling modes etc. Overall great sound,nice quality,rich features and very comfortable.If you are looking for noise cancellation at its best,don’t look elsewhere and buy this immediately,you will not regret it.
